Claims (10)
- ホスト材料および発光剤を含む放射線放出層であって、前記発光剤が2種の発光剤を含み、一方の発光剤がアップシフト用発光剤であり、他方の発光剤がダウンシフト用発光剤である、放射線放出層と、
線源放射線を放出する放射線源とを備え、
前記放射線放出層が、縁部および2つの広い表面を備え、前記縁部が高さdを有し、前記広い表面が長さLを有し、長さLが高さdより大きく、前記長さL対前記高さdの比が10以上であり、
前記放射線源が前記縁部に連結されており、前記線源放射線が、前記放射線源から出て前記縁部を通り抜けるように伝わって前記発光剤を励起し、その後、前記発光剤が放出放射線を放出し、前記放出放射線の少なくとも一部が、前記広い表面のうち少なくとも1つを通り抜けてエスケープコーンを通って抜け出ることを特徴とする、放射線放出装置。 - 請求項1に記載の装置であって、前記ダウンシフト用発光剤の発光スペクトルEm1が、前記ダウンシフト用発光剤の励起スペクトルEx1および前記アップシフト用発光剤の励起スペクトルEx2と重複しており、前記アップシフト用発光剤の発光スペクトルEm2が、前記発光スペクトルEm1と重複しており、前記放射線源の線源スペクトルが、前記励起スペクトルEx2または前記励起スペクトルEx1の一方と重複していることを特徴とする装置。

- 請求項1に記載の装置であって、広い表面上のすべての箇所における実測放射線が、前記広い表面から放出された平均放射線の40%以内になる程度に、前記広い表面のうち一方または両方から放出された前記放射線が均一であることを特徴とする装置。
- 請求項1から4のいずれか1項に記載の装置であって、縁部ミラー、縁部選択反射ミラー、表面ミラー、光触媒層、紫外線保護層、耐摩耗性層および防曇層のうち1つ以上をさらに備えることを特徴とする装置。
- 請求項1から5のいずれか1項に記載の装置であって、前記ホスト材料が、ポリカーボネート、ポリエステル、ポリアクリレート、または前述のもののうち1つ以上を含む組合せを含むか、或いは、前記発光剤が、染料、量子ドット、希土類錯体、遷移金属イオン、または前述のもののうち1つ以上を含む組合せを含むことを特徴とする装置。
- 請求項1に記載の装置であって、前記ダウンシフト用発光剤が、第1、第2および第3のダウンシフト用発光剤を含む装置。
- 請求項1から7のいずれか1項に記載の装置であって、前記発光剤が、(py)24Nd28F68(SePh)16;NaCl:Ti2+;MgCl2:Ti2+;Cs2ZrBr6:Os4+;Cs2ZrCl6:Re4+;YAlO3:Cr3+,Yb3+;Y3Ga5O12:Cr3+,Yb3+;ローダミン6G;インダセン染料;置換アミノ基およびシアノ基のうち一方または両方を有するピラジン型化合物;プテリジン化合物;ペリレン型化合物;アントラキノン型化合物;チオインジゴ型化合物;ナフタレン型化合物;キサンテン型化合物;ピロロピロールシアニン(PPCy);ビス(PPCy)染料;アクセプター置換スクアライン;ランタニドベースの化合物;または前述のもののうち1つ以上を含む組合せを含むことを特徴とする装置。
- 請求項1から8のいずれか1項に記載の装置であって、照明モジュールのためのフラットパネル、グレージングまたはレンズであることを特徴とする装置。
- 表面から放射線を放出するための方法であって、
放射線源から線源放射線を放出することと、
ホスト材料および発光剤を含む放射線放出層を前記放射線で照明することとを含み、
前記放射線放出層が、縁部、第1の広い表面および第2の広い表面を備え、前記縁部が高さdを有し、前記広い表面が長さLを有し、長さLが高さdより大きく、前記長さL対前記高さdの比が10以上であり、前記発光剤が2種の発光剤を含み、一方の発光剤がアップシフト用発光剤であり、他方の発光剤がダウンシフト用発光剤であり、
前記放射線源が前記縁部に連結されており、前記線源放射線が、前記放射線源から出て前記縁部を通り抜けるように伝わって前記発光剤を励起し、その後、前記発光剤が放出放射線を放出し、前記放出放射線の少なくとも一部が、前記広い表面のうち少なくとも1つを通り抜けてエスケープコーンを通って抜け出ることを特徴とする、方法。
