- 燃料電池板アセンブリであって、
流体を受容するためのポートを備える双極板と、
流体拡散層と、
活性領域を画定する電極と、を備え、
前記流体拡散層は、前記ポートで受容される前記流体を前記活性領域に連通させるために、前記ポートと前記活性領域との間に延在し、
前記双極板は、2つ以上の流体流動チャネルを備え、前記流体拡散層は、前記ポートで受容される前記流体を、前記2つ以上の流体流動チャネルに連通させるように構成され、
前記双極板は、前記2つ以上の流体流動チャネルの間で流体を連通させるように構成される、1つ以上の接続チャネルを備え、
前記ポートの周囲に第1の接着剤(または封止剤)のトラックをさらに備え、前記第1の接着剤のトラックは、前記双極板と、隣接する燃料電池板アセンブリの第2の双極板との間に密封を提供するように構成される、燃料電池板アセンブリ。 - 前記流体拡散層は、前記ポートから前記活性領域に延在する、請求項1に記載の燃料電池板アセンブリ。
- 前記流体拡散層は、前記活性領域のフットプリントの外側に位置する延在領域を備える、請求項1に記載の燃料電池板アセンブリ。
- 前記流体拡散層の延在領域は、前記ポートと前記活性領域との間の前記双極板と接触する、請求項1に記載の燃料電池板アセンブリ。
- 前記ポートはまた、前記燃料電池板アセンブリの厚さを通じて、隣接する燃料電池板アセンブリに、またはそこから前記流体を運搬するように構成される、請求項1に記載の燃料電池板アセンブリ。
- 前記流体拡散層は、前記燃料電池板アセンブリの平面に沿って、前記ポートで受容される流体を前記活性領域に連通させるように構成される、請求項1に記載の燃料電池板アセンブリ。
- 前記流体拡散層は、前記活性領域のフットプリントの外側に位置する延在領域を備え、前記第1の接着剤のトラックは、前記流体拡散層の前記延在領域上に延在する、請求項1に記載の燃料電池板アセンブリ。
- 前記双極板は、前記ポートで受容される前記流体を、前記2つ以上の流体流動チャネルに連通させるように構成される、1つ以上のポートチャネルを備える、請求項1に記載の燃料電池板アセンブリ。
- 前記双極板は、前記ポートに対して前記双極板の反対の端部に第2のポートをさらに備え、前記流体拡散層は、前記活性領域と前記第2のポートとの間で流体を連通させるように構成される、請求項1に記載の燃料電池板アセンブリ。
- 前記流体拡散層は、アノード流体拡散層であり、前記燃料電池板アセンブリは、カソード流体拡散層を備えるラミネート層と、前記電極を備える膜電極アセンブリとをさらに備える、請求項1に記載の燃料電池板アセンブリ。
- 請求項9に記載の複数の前記燃料電池板アセンブリを備える、燃料電池スタック。
