Description
表1に示す重合比率(質量部)となるように、上記式(1)のモノマー(テトラフルオロエチレン(TFE))と上記式(3)のモノマーとを仕込み、乳化重合によって所定のフッ素樹脂(パーフルオロアルキル化合物)を合成した。得られたフッ素樹脂と必要に応じて添加されるフィラーとを表1に示す配合組成(質量部)となるように混合することにより、絶縁層用の樹脂組成物を調製した。次いで、押出成形機を用いて、軟銅線を171本撚り合わせた軟銅撚線の導体(断面積15mm2)の外周に絶縁層用の樹脂組成物を1.1mm厚で押出被覆した(350℃)。以上により、実施例1〜10の絶縁電線を得た。実施例1〜10の式(3)からなるモノマーは、それぞれ以下の式(4)〜式(13)である。実施例1〜10の式(3)からなるモノマーは、公知の化学反応を利用して合成した。パーフルオロアルキルエーテルモノマーは、テトラフルオロエチレンに対しパラジウム触媒を用いて対応するパーフルオロアルキルエーテルアルコール(式(4)ではパーフルオロエトキシメトキシメチルアルコール)を重水素化THF溶媒中100℃×4時間反応させることで得た。パーフルオロアルキルエーテルアルコールは、ヘキサフルオロプロピレンオキサイドまたはテトラフルオロオキセタンを出発原料としてオリゴマー化、フッ素化することにより得た。
表2に示す重合比率(質量部)となるように上記式(1)のモノマー(テトラフルオロエチレン(TFE))と表2に記載のモノマー(CF2CFOCnF2n+1)とを仕込んだ以外は実施例と同様にして、比較例1〜7の絶縁電線を得た。側鎖(パーフルオロアルコキシ基)の炭素数は表2のn数として示している。また、側鎖(パーフルオロアルコキシ基)の炭素鎖の構造は、直鎖として示している。
フッ素樹脂(パーフルオロアルキル化合物)として、市販のPFA(三井デュポン製「420HP−J」、側鎖=メトキシ基)を用いた以外は実施例と同様にして、比較例8の絶縁電線を得た。
実施例、比較例の絶縁電線を500mmの長さに切り出して試験片とし、曲げ半径100mmに固定した。次いで、ロードセルで応力を印加し、曲げ半径が50mmになるまで押さえたときの最大荷重を測定した。
社団法人自動車技術規格「JASO D618」に準拠して、ブレード往復法により試験を行った。すなわち、実施例、比較例の絶縁電線を750mmの長さに切り出して試験片とした。そして、23±5℃の室温下で試験片の被覆材(絶縁層)に対し軸方向に10mm以上の長さでブレードを毎分50回の速さで往復させ、導体に接するまでの往復回数を測定した。この際、ブレードにかかる荷重は、7Nとした。回数については1500回以上のものを合格「○」とし、1500回未満のものを不合格「×」とした。また、回数が2000回以上のものは特に優れる「◎」とした。

- 前記n1〜n14のいずれも、0以上10以下の整数であることを特徴とする請求項2に記載の絶縁電線。
- 前記共重合体が熱可塑性であることを特徴とする請求項1から3のいずれか1項に記載の絶縁電線。
