Abstract
Description
図1は、この発明の実施の形態1に係る光送受信装置の構成を示すブロック図である。光送受信装置は、誤り訂正復号装置から構成された誤り訂正復号化部を搭載している。以下、光送受信装置の構成について説明する。
上述した実施の形態1では、Window80のWindowサイズと復号繰り返し数とを可変とする構成とすることで、複数のスループットに対応したものであるが、空間結合LDPC復号演算回路3622を、大きな一つの演算コア回路で構成したものであった。このように、大きな一つの演算コア回路で構成した場合、回路の複雑性が増加する。任意のWindowサイズ及び任意の復号繰り返し数とした場合、その復号処理回路規模の見積もりが困難になるため、設計のやり直しが生じやすくなる。
図10は、この発明の実施の形態3に係る誤り訂正復号装置の構成を示すブロック図である。図10に示すように、誤り訂正復号装置は、繰り返し数設定部403と、誤り訂正復号部405とを搭載している。誤り訂正復号部405は、例えば、図5の空間結合LDPC復号処理部362と同様の構成を有しており、繰り返し訂正が可能である。以下、誤り訂正復号装置の構成について説明する。
上述した実施の形態3に係る誤り訂正復号装置においては、繰り返し数設定部403に設定される復号繰り返し数の回数分だけ復号処理を行った後に、復号後フレーム422を出力する。この場合、設定された復号繰り返し数に従って復号処理の遅延時間が異なってくるため、後段のシステム設計を複雑にする可能性がある。次の誤り訂正符号フレーム420の復号処理421が終了する直前までに、前の誤り訂正復号後フレーム422の出力を完了すれば、衝突を起こすことなく出力できるが、一方で、システムの処理遅延時間は、なるべく小さくしたい要求があり、次の誤り訂正符号フレーム420の復号処理421が始まる前に、復号後フレーム422を出力できることが望ましい。
上述した実施の形態3及び実施の形態4では、1つの誤り訂正復号部405を用いた構成について説明したが、高速スループットに対応するため複数の誤り訂正復号部を並列に複数個並べて処理することも考えられる。
上述した実施の形態1〜5では、光送受信装置に対して、LDPC符号、特に空間結合LDPC符号等の畳込み型LDPC符号の誤り訂正復号装置を適用する場合の例について示してきたが、その場合に限らず、繰り返し復号可能な誤り訂正符号は、ターボ符号、積符号、連接符号等様々な符号構成があり、これらもLDPC符号同様に、復号繰り返し数の設定を制御できるため、実施の形態1〜5に係る光送受信装置に適用することができる。また、これらは、光送受信装置だけでなく、地上無線通信、衛星通信、衛星光通信等の他の通信方法においても、繰り返し復号可能な誤り訂正符号での復号において適用することができる。
Claims (6)
- 繰り返し復号可能な符号化された受信系列を復号するための誤り訂正復号装置であって、
要求スループットおよび要求訂正性能に基づいて設定される復号繰り返し数の回数分の処理の実行を満たす範囲で要求される要求遅延に基づいて、復号処理結果を出力する出力タイミングを決定する出力タイミング設定部と、
前記復号繰り返し数の回数分だけ、前記符号化された受信系列に対する復号処理を繰り返し行う誤り訂正復号部と
を備えた誤り訂正復号装置。 - 前記要求スループット及び前記要求訂正性能に応じて、前記要求スループット及び前記要求訂正性能のそれぞれを満たすように、データレートを満たす最大繰り返し数以下の範囲で、復号繰り返し数を設定する繰り返し数設定部をさらに備えた、
請求項1に記載の誤り訂正復号装置。 - 前記符号化された受信系列は、LDPC符号系列とする、
請求項1または2に記載の誤り訂正復号装置。 - 前記誤り訂正復号部は複数個設けられており、
前記符号化された受信系列を、予め設定された順序で、前記複数個の前記誤り訂正復号部に対して順に入力していくフレーム分配部と、
前記複数個の前記誤り訂正復号部から出力される復号後の前記受信系列を選択して出力するフレーム選択部と
をさらに備えた、
請求項1から3までのいずれか1項に記載の誤り訂正復号装置。 - 前記復号処理は、1以上の小検査行列にまたがるWindowを用いて、前記Window単位で逐次的に復号していくWindowed復号処理であり、
前記WindowのWindowサイズと前記復号繰り返し数とは可変であり、
前記Windowサイズと前記復号繰り返し数とは、前記誤り訂正復号装置に接続された制御回路から入力され、
前記制御回路は、前記要求スループット及び前記要求訂正性能に基づいて、前記Windowサイズと前記復号繰り返し数とを決定する、
請求項1から4までのいずれか1項に記載の誤り訂正復号装置。 - 請求項1から5までのいずれか1項に記載の誤り訂正復号装置を備えた光送受信装置。
