Description
[0001] 本出願は、2011年1月31日に出願された「Terminal With Flicker-Corrected Aimer and Alternating Illumination」と題する米国特許出願番号第13/017,926号に基づく優先権を主張する。上記の出願は、この参照によりその全体が本願明細書に組み入れられる。

前記照明サブシステムが複数の活性照明期間のうちの1つに対して活性化されるのと同時に少なくとも一度、前記イメージングサブシステムが、第1の照明有りの露出期間の間、活性化され、
前記照明サブシステムが活性化されていないときに少なくとも一度、前記イメージングサブシステムが、前記第1の照明有りの露出期間よりも長い第1の照明無しの露出期間の間、活性化され、

Claims (12)
- 端末であって、
照明パターンを投影するために作動する照明サブシステムと、
照準パターンを投影するために作動するエイマサブシステムと、
イメージセンサアレイ上にイメージを焦点合わせさせるように作動するイメージング光学アセンブリおよびイメージセンサアレイを備えたイメージングサブシステムと、
イメージデータのフレームの少なくとも1つに表されたデコード可能な証印を復号化することを試みるように作動するプロセッサと、を有し、
読取信号に応答して、端末が、読取サイクルを活性化するように作動し、
前記照明サブシステムが照明パターンを投影するように活性化され、同時に、照明露出期間の間、前記イメージングサブシステムが、イメージデータのフレームを得るために活性化され、
前記イメージングサブシステム及び照明サブシステムが活性化されない間、前記エイマサブシステムが第1の活性化エイマ期間の間、照準パターンを投影するように活性化され、
前記照明サブシステム及びエイマサブシステムが活性化されない間、前記イメージングサブシステムが非照明露出期間の間、イメージデータのフレームを得るために前記イメージングサブシステムは活性化され、
前記イメージングサブシステムが活性化されない間、前記照明サブシステムは非露出照明期間の間、照明パターンを投影するように活性化され、前記非露出照明期間が公称許容度内で照明露出期間の間と同じ期間であり、
前記イメージングサブシステム及び照明サブシステムが活性化されない間、エイマサブシステムが第2の活性化エイマ期間の間、照準パターンを投影するように活性化され、前記第2の活性化エイマ期間が、公称許容度内で第1の活性化エイマ期間と同じ期間であり、
前記読取サイクルの期間が残像時間の閾値を下回り、
前記証明サブシステム及びエイマサブシステムが規則的な周期性を以って活性化される、
ことを特徴とする端末。 - 前記読取サイクルが順番に複数回活性化されるように端末が作動し、活性化エイマ期間の間の時間のインターバルが公称許容度内で等しく、ある読取サイクルから次の読取サイクルまで読取サイクルが順番に複数回活性化されるように、照明期間の間の時間のインターバルが、公称許容度内で等しいことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の端末。
- 前記読取サイクルが照明露出期間を有し、
次いで、第1の活性化エイマ期間が照明露出期間に続き、
次いで、非照明露出期間が第1の活性化エイマ期間に続き、
次いで、非露出照明期間が非照明露出期間に続き、
次いで、第2の活性化エイマ期間が非露出照明期間に続き、
読取サイクルが順番に複数回活性化される、ことを特徴とする請求項2に記載の端末。 - イメージングサブシステムが、第1の照明露出期間の間、イメージデータの第1の照らされたフレームを捕捉し、前記イメージングサブシステムが、第1の非照明露出期間の間、イメージデータの第1の照らされていないフレームを捕捉し、プロセッサが、イメージデータの照らされたフレームとイメージデータの照らされていないフレームの両方から復号可能な証印を復号するのを試みるように端末が作動することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の端末。
