Description
[001]本発明はセキュリティ要素の分野、並びにセキュリティ文書を偽造及び不法な複製から保護するためのその使用に関する。特に、本発明は、順次式の照明に当てた時に動的な視覚的運動を示すセキュリティ要素の分野に関する。
[002]カラーの複写物や印刷物の品質が向上し続けるのに伴い、複製可能な効果を持たない、紙幣、高価値の文書やカード、交通機関の乗車券やカード、タックスバンダロール(tax banderol)、製品ラベルなどのセキュリティ文書を、偽造、変造、又は不法な複製から保護することを試みて、そのような文書に各種のセキュリティ手段を組み込むことが従来行われている。セキュリティ手段の典型的な例には、光学的に変化する顔料、磁性又は磁化可能な薄膜干渉顔料、干渉被膜が施された粒子、熱変色性顔料、光互変性顔料、発光性化合物、赤外線吸収化合物、紫外線吸収化合物、又は磁性化合物を含んでいる、セキュリティスレッド、窓、繊維、プランシェット(planchette)、箔、転写図柄、ホログラム、透かし、セキュリティインク、又は組成物等がある。
[008]したがって、本発明の目的は、順次式照明に当てた時に動的な視覚的運動を示すセキュリティ要素及び前記セキュリティ要素を含んでいるセキュリティ文書を提供することである。これは請求項1のセキュリティ要素によって実現される。特に、本発明は、少なくとも3つの層のパターンを含むセキュリティ要素に関し、第1の層は、第1の電磁放射線と相互作用することができるが第2及び第3の電磁放射線とは相互作用しない第1の材料を含み、第2の層は、第2の電磁放射線と相互作用することができるが第1及び第3の電磁放射線とは相互作用しない第2の材料を含み、第3の層は、第3の電磁放射線と相互作用することができるが第1及び第2の電磁放射線とは相互作用しない第3の材料を含み、前記パターンは、少なくとも第1、第2、及び第3の電磁放射線を別々に発することが可能な光源で順次式照明に当てた時に視覚的な運動効果をもたらす。

[019]以下の定義を使用して、詳細な説明で論じられる用語及び特許請求の範囲で述べられる用語の意味を解釈すべきである。
i)上記のセキュリティ要素を用意するステップ、及び
ii)少なくとも前記第1、第2、及び第3の電磁放射線を別々に発することが可能な光源で前記セキュリティ要素を順次照明するステップ
を含む。

Claims (15)
- 少なくとも3つの層のパターンを含むセキュリティ要素であって、第1の層は、第1の電磁放射線と相互作用することができるが第2及び第3の電磁放射線とは相互作用しない第1の材料を含み、第2の層は、前記第2の電磁放射線と相互作用することができるが第1及び第3の電磁放射線とは相互作用しない第2の材料を含み、第3の層は、第3の電磁放射線と相互作用することができるが第1及び第2の電磁放射線とは相互作用しない第3の材料を含み、前記パターンは、少なくとも前記第1、第2、及び第3の電磁放射線を別々に発することが可能な光源で順次式照明に当てた時に視覚的な運動効果をもたらす、セキュリティ要素。
- 前記少なくとも3つの層が、類似する物の異なる姿態の連続を表す、請求項1に記載のセキュリティ要素。
- 前記層の少なくとも2つが互いに隣接しているか、互いから離間しているか、又は少なくとも部分的に互いと重畳している、請求項1又は2に記載のセキュリティ要素。
- 前記少なくとも3つの層が、昼光下で見るか、又は観察した時に同じ色を有するか、又は異なる色を有する、請求項1〜3のいずれか一項に記載のセキュリティ要素。
- 前記第1の材料が、1つ又は複数の左円偏光コレステリック液晶材料からなる群から選択される、請求項1〜4のいずれか一項に記載のセキュリティ要素。
- 第2の材料が、1つ又は複数の右円偏光コレステリック液晶材料からなる群から選択される、請求項1〜5のいずれか一項に記載のセキュリティ要素。
- 前記第3の材料が、1つ又は複数の発光性材料からなる群から選択される請求項1〜6のいずれか一項に記載のセキュリティ要素。
- 前記第1の材料が、1つ又は複数の左円偏光コレステリック液晶材料からなる群から選択され、前記第2の材料が、1つ又は複数の右円偏光コレステリック液晶材料からなる群から選択され、前記第3の材料が、1つ又は複数の発光性材料からなる群から選択される請求項1〜7のいずれか一項に記載のセキュリティ要素。
- 請求項1〜8のいずれか一項に記載のセキュリティ要素を製造するプロセスであって、
前記第1の材料を含む少なくとも第1のインク組成物を好ましくはコーティング法又は印刷法で塗布することにより前記第1の層を形成し、前記第2の材料を含む少なくとも第2のインク組成物を好ましくはコーティング法又は印刷法で塗布することにより前記第2の層を形成し、前記第3の材料を含む第3のインク組成物を好ましくはコーティング法又は印刷法で塗布することにより前記第3の層を形成し、それにより、前記第1、第2、及び第3の電磁放射線を別々に発することが可能な光源で順次式照明に当てた時に視覚的な運動効果をもたらすパターンを形成するステップを含む、プロセス。 - セキュリティ文書を不正行為又は不法な複製から保護するための、請求項1〜8のいずれか一項に記載のセキュリティ要素の使用。
- 請求項1〜8のいずれか一項に記載のセキュリティ要素を含む、セキュリティ文書。
- 視覚的な運動効果を作り出す方法であって、
i)請求項1〜8のいずれか一項に記載のセキュリティ要素を用意するステップと、
ii)少なくとも前記第1、第2、及び第3の電磁放射線を別々に発することが可能な光源で前記セキュリティ要素を順次照明するステップと、
を含む、方法。 - 前記セキュリティ要素が、a)1つ又は複数の左円偏光コレステリック液晶材料を含む第1の層、b)1つ又は複数の右円偏光コレステリック液晶材料を含む第2の層、及び、c)1つ又は複数の発光性材料を含む第3の層を含み、前記順次照明するステップが、3セットのランプを備える光源を使用して行われ、前記ランプのセットのうち第1のセットは左偏光フィルタを備え、前記ランプのセットのうち第2のセットは右偏光フィルタを備え、前記ランプのセットのうち第3のセットはUVランプで構成される、請求項12に記載の方法。
- 前記視覚的な運動効果を検証することにより前記セキュリティ要素を認証するステップをさらに含む、請求項12又は13に記載の方法。
- 前記セキュリティ要素がセキュリティ文書に設けられる、請求項12〜14のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
