Claims (15)
- 互いに積層された第1及び第2電極板を備える第1電極組立体と、
前記第1電極組立体を巻取り中心として、第1電極組立体の外周に沿って共に巻き取られた第3及び第4電極板を備える第2電極組立体と、を備え、
前記第1電極組立体と第2電極組立体との互いに対向する電極板同士は、互いに同じ極性で対向する二次電池。 - 前記第1電極組立体は、前記第1及び第2電極板の間に積層された第1セパレータをさらに備え、
前記第2電極組立体は、前記第3及び第4電極板と共に巻取られる第2セパレータをさらに備えることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の二次電池。 - 前記第2電極組立体のうち、
前記第2セパレータは、前記第1電極組立体の外周を取り囲む最内側ターンを形成し、
前記第2セパレータの外側に、第3電極板及び第4電極板が順次に配され、
前記第3及び第4電極板の間には第3セパレータが介在されることを特徴とする請求項2に記載の二次電池。 - 前記第1電極組立体の外側両側には第2電極板が配され、
前記第2電極組立体の最内側ターンを形成する第2セパレータの次に内側に配された第3電極板は、前記第2電極板と同じ極性を持つことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の二次電池。 - 前記第2及び第3電極板は、負極で形成されることを特徴とする請求項4に記載の二次電池。
- 前記第2電極組立体のコーナー部分は、前記第1電極組立体の角部分を取り囲み、
さらに最小曲率半径は、前記第2電極組立体の全体軌跡のうちのコーナー部分にわたって形成されることを特徴とする請求項1〜5のいずれか一項に記載の二次電池。 - 前記第1電極組立体の積層厚さは、前記第2電極組立体の第3電極板または第4電極板の電極板の厚さの10〜30倍に形成されることを特徴とする請求項1〜6のいずれか一項に記載の二次電池。
- 前記第1電極組立体の積層厚さは、前記第2電極組立体が巻き取られたときの前記第2電極組立体の合算厚さより薄いことを特徴とする請求項1〜7のいずれか一項に記載の二次電池。
- 前記第2電極組立体の合算厚さは、前記第1電極組立体の積層方向に沿って第2電極組立体の部分的な厚さを合算したものであることを特徴とする請求項8に記載の二次電池。
- 前記第1及び第2電極組立体は、一側に形成された第1極性の接続部と、反対側に形成された第2極性の接続部を備えることを特徴とする請求項1〜3のいずれか一項に記載の二次電池。
- 前記第1及び第2電極組立体は、第1極性の接続部及び第2極性の接続部で共通に束ねられて並列連結されることを特徴とする請求項10に記載の二次電池。
- 前記第1極性の接続部は、
前記第1電極組立体の一側に形成された第1電極板の無地部と、
前記第2電極組立体の一側に形成された第3電極板の無地部と、を備えることを特徴とする請求項10又は11に記載の二次電池。 - 前記第2極性の接続部は、
前記第1電極組立体の反対側に形成された第2電極板の無地部と、
前記第2電極組立体の反対側に形成された第4電極板の無地部と、を備えることを特徴とする請求項10〜12のいずれか一項に記載の二次電池。 - 前記第1極性の接続部に結合される第1集電部材と、
前記第2極性の接続部に結合される第2集電部材と、をさらに備えることを特徴とする請求項10〜13のいずれか一項に記載の二次電池。 - 前記第1集電部材と電気的に連結され、前記第1及び第2電極組立体を収容したケースの外部に引き出される第1電極端子と、
前記第2集電部材と電気的に連結され、前記第1及び第2電極組立体を収容したケースの外部に引き出される第2電極端子と、をさらに備えることを特徴とする請求項14に記載の二次電池。
