Description
中和度(モル%)=100×「架橋重合体の中和されているカルボキシル基のモル数」/「架橋重合体が有するカルボキシル基の総モル数(中和、未中和を含む)」
(ボルテックス法による吸水速度の測定方法)
100mLのガラスビーカーに、生理食塩水(0.9質量%塩化ナトリウム水)50mLとマグネチックスターラーチップ(中央部直径8mm、両端部直径7mm、長さ30mmで、表面がフッ素樹脂コーティングされているもの)を入れ、ビーカーをマグネチックスターラー(アズワン製、「HPS−100」)に載せる。マグネチックスターラーの回転数を600±60rpmに調整し、生理食塩水を撹拌させる。試料2.0gを、撹拌中の食塩水の渦の中心部で液中に投入し、JIS K 7224(1996)に準拠して該吸水性樹脂粉末の吸水速度(秒)を測定する。具体的には、試料である吸水性樹脂粉末のビーカーへの投入が完了した時点でストップウォッチをスタートさせ、スターラーチップが試験液に覆われた時点(渦が消え、液表面が平らになった時点)でストップウォッチを止め、その時間(秒)を吸水速度として記録する。測定は5回行い(n=5)、上下各1点の値を削除し、残る3点の平均値を測定値とした。なお、これらの測定は23±2℃、相対湿度50±5%で行い、測定の前に試料を同環境で24時間以上保存した後に測定する。
吸収倍率の測定は、JIS K 7223(1996)に準拠して行う。目開き63μmのナイロン網(JIS Z8801−1:2000)を幅10cm、長さ40cmの長方形に切断して長手方向中央で二つ折りにし、両端をヒートシールして幅10cm(内寸9cm)、長さ20cmのナイロン袋を作製する。測定試料1.00gを精秤し、作製したナイロン袋の底部に均一になるように入れる。試料の入ったナイロン袋を、生理食塩水に浸漬させる。浸漬開始から60分後にナイロン袋を生理食塩水から取り出し、1時間垂直状態に吊るして水切りした後、試料の質量F1(g)を測定する。また、試料を用いないで同様の操作を行い、そのときの質量F0(g)を測定する。そして、これら質量F1、F0および試料の質量から、次式に従って、目的とする吸収倍率を算出する。
吸収倍率(g/g)=(F1−F0)/試料の質量
保水量の測定は、JIS K 7223(1996)に準拠して行う。目開き63μmのナイロン網(JIS Z8801−1:2000)を幅10cm、長さ40cmの長方形に切断して長手方向中央で二つ折りにし、両端をヒートシールして幅10cm(内寸9cm)、長さ20cmのナイロン袋を作製する。測定試料1.00gを精秤し、作製したナイロン袋の底部に均一になるように入れる。試料の入ったナイロン袋を、生理食塩水に浸漬させる。浸漬開始から60分後にナイロン袋を生理食塩水から取り出し、1時間垂直状態に吊るして水切りした後、遠心脱水器(コクサン(株)製、型式H−130C特型)を用いて脱水する。脱水条件は、143G(800rpm)で2分間とする。脱水後の質量R1(g)を測定する。また、試料を用いないで同様の操作を行い、そのときの質量R0(g)を測定する。そして、これら質量R1、R0および試料の質量から、次式に従って、目的とする保水量を算出する。
保水量(g/g)=(R1−R0−試料の質量)/試料の質量
幅5cm、長さ5cmに加工した吸収性物品に、尿5mlを3回に分けて吸収させた。尿を吸収させた吸収性物品を試験者の内股に、トップシート(透液性不織布)が皮膚に当接するようにあてがい、16時間放置した。16時間経過後、吸収性物品を取り外し、当接していた部分の皮膚の状態を目視にて観察し、下記の5段階で評価した。また、取り外した吸収性物品について、臭気強度を下記の6段階で評価した。評価は、それぞれ20人の試験者が行い、20人の評価の平均をその吸収性物品の評価値とした。
<皮膚刺激の評価基準>
5:変化なし。
4:ほとんど変化なし。
3:少し赤みあり。
2:赤みあり。
1:皮膚がかぶれた状態。
<臭気強度の評価基準>
0:無臭。
1:何とか感知できる程度の臭い。
2:何の臭いであるか理解できるが、弱い臭い。
3:容易に感知できる臭い。
4:強く臭う。
5:強烈に臭う。
非透液性シートの上に合成ゴム系ホットメルト接着剤を塗布し、この上にティッシュペーパーを積層した。前記ティッシュペーパー上に合成ゴム系ホットメルト接着剤を塗布した後、パルプと吸水性樹脂粉末(サンダイヤポリマー社製、「アクアパール(登録商標)」 DS560)を混合した状態で散布(吸水性樹脂粉末の目付け100g/m2)し、吸水層を形成した。この吸収層の上に合成ゴム系ホットメルト接着剤を塗布し、この上にティッシュペーパーを積層した。ティッシュペーパー上にさらに合成ゴム系ホットメルト接着剤を塗布し、透液性不織布を積層して積層体を形成した。なお、吸水性樹脂粉末の物性は、吸水倍率が60g/g、保水量が42g/g、ボルテックス法による吸水速度が38秒であった。
吸収性物品1
室温の蒸留水47.5gと、分散剤としてのキャリボン(登録商標)B(ポリカルボン酸(塩)型分散剤、固形分濃度40質量%、三洋化成工業社製)12.5gとを含む混合液を調製した。ここに、フマル酸40gを投入し、ホモジナイザー(日本精機製作所製、バイオミキサーBM−2)を用いてフマル酸粒子の体積平均粒子径が2μmになるまで粉砕し、分散させた。さらに、蒸留水を追加し、フマル酸濃度を0.1質量%に調整したフマル酸分散液を得た。なお、分散剤の含有量は、フマル酸100質量部に対して12.5質量部である。分散液中のフマル酸の体積平均粒子径は、レーザー回折・散乱式粒度分析計(日機装社製、MT3000II)を用いて測定した。前記積層体の透液性不織布(トップシート)上に、スプレーを用いて前記フマル酸分散液を塗布し、乾燥させて吸収性物品1を作製した。なお、フマル酸分散液の塗布量は、吸収性物品1の透液性不織布のフマル酸担持量が1.0g/m2となるように調整した。この吸収性物品1は、トップシートが平均粒子径30μm以下のフマル酸粒子を担持したシートである。
酸性化合物の種類および体積平均粒子径を、表1に記載のとおりに変更した以外は、吸収性物品1と同様にして、吸収性物品2〜12を作製した。
フマル酸を使用しなかったこと以外は、吸収性物品1と同様にして、吸収性物品13を作製した。
室温の蒸留水47.5gと、分散剤としてのキャリボン(登録商標)B(ポリカルボン酸(塩)型分散剤、固形分濃度40質量%、三洋化成工業社製)12.5gとを含む混合液を調製した。ここに、フマル酸40gを投入し、ホモジナイザー(日本精機製作所製、バイオミキサーBM−2)を用いてフマル酸粒子の体積平均粒子径が8μmになるまで粉砕した。この分散液から水分を除去し、体積平均粒子径8μmのフマル酸粒子の粉体を得た。前記積層体の透液性不織布(トップシート)上に、このフマル酸粒子を散布して、吸収性物品14を作製した。なお、フマル酸粒子の散布量は、吸収性物品14の透液性不織布のフマル酸担持量が1.0g/m2となるように調整した。この吸収性物品14は、トップシートが平均粒子径30μm以下のフマル酸粒子を担持したシートである。
液温を50℃に調整した温水200gに対し、フマル酸1.0gを投入し、マグネチック超音波スターラ USS−2(日本精機製作所製)を用いて撹拌して、フマル酸を完全に溶解させ、フマル酸溶液1を調製した。前記積層体の透液性不織布(トップシート)上に、スプレーを用いて前記フマル酸溶液1を塗布し、乾燥させて吸収性物品15を作製した。なお、フマル酸溶液1の塗布量は、吸収性物品15の透液性不織布のフマル酸担持量が1.0g/m2となるように調整した。この吸収性物品15は、トップシートが、少なくとも一部の構成繊維がフマル酸で被覆されたシートである。
液温を30℃に調整したエタノール(純度95%以上)200gに対し、フマル酸1.0gを投入し、マグネチック超音波スターラ USS−2(日本精機製作所製)を用いて撹拌して、フマル酸を完全に溶解させ、フマル酸溶液2を調製した。前記積層体の透液性不織布(トップシート)上に、スプレーを用いて前記フマル酸溶液2を塗布し、乾燥させて吸収性物品16を作製した。なお、フマル酸溶液2の塗布量は、吸収性物品16の透液性不織布のフマル酸担持量が1.0g/m2となるように調整した。この吸収性物品16は、トップシートが、少なくとも一部の構成繊維がフマル酸で被覆されたシートである。
Claims (8)
- 吸収体と、該吸収体の肌面側に配置されたフマル酸担持シートとを備えており、
前記フマル酸担持シートが、平均粒子径が30μm以下のフマル酸粒子を担持したシートであり、
前記フマル酸粒子は、粒子表面の少なくとも一部が分散剤で被覆されていることを特徴とする吸収性物品。 - 前記分散剤の使用量が、フマル酸粒子100質量部に対して、1質量部〜50質量部である請求項1に記載の吸収性物品。
- 前記フマル酸担持シートのフマル酸の担持量が、0.01g/m2〜10g/m2である請求項1または2に記載の吸収性物品。
- 前記分散剤が、アニオン性高分子型分散剤、アニオン性界面活性剤型分散剤、および、ノニオン性界面活性剤型分散剤よりなる群から選択される少なくとも1種である請求項1〜3のいずれか一項に記載の吸収性物品。
- 前記吸収体の肌面側に配置されたトップシートと、前記吸収体の外面側に配置されたバックシートとを有し、
前記トップシートが前記フマル酸担持シートである請求項1〜4のいずれか一項に記載の吸収性物品。 - 前記吸収体の肌面側に配置されたトップシートと、前記吸収体の外面側に配置されたバックシートとを有し、
前記吸収体と前記トップシートとの間に、中間シートとして前記フマル酸担持シートが配置されている請求項1〜5のいずれか一項に記載の吸収性物品。 - 前記吸収体が吸水性樹脂粉末を含有し、
前記フマル酸の担持量と前記吸水性樹脂粉末の目付けとの比率(フマル酸の担持量/吸水性樹脂粉末の目付け)が、0.001以上、20以下である請求項1〜6のいずれか一項に記載の吸収性物品。 - 前記フマル酸担持シートは、フマル酸と溶媒とを含有するフマル酸含有液と、シート基材とを接触させた後、溶媒を除去することによりフマル酸を担持させたものであり、
前記フマル酸含有液が、分散剤を含有するものである請求項1〜7のいずれか一項に記載の吸収性物品。
