Description
(i)2.0g/10分未満のメルトフローインデックスMFI(230℃、2.16kg)、
1200から2400MPaの曲げ弾性率、
0.895から0.910g/cm3の密度
を有するポリプロピレン、
(ii)0.1から2.0g/10分のメルトフローインデックスMFI(190℃、2.16kg)を有する高密度ポリエチレン、
(iii)無機充填剤
を含む組成物を提供することにより解決される。
(i)ポリプロピレン、
(ii)高密度ポリエチレン、
(iii)無機充填剤
を含み、
組成物が少なくとも20cNの溶融強度を有する該組成物を提供することにより解決される。
Publishers、1996年、220頁、E.P.Mooreを参照できる。また、上に記載した特性を有するポリプロピレンは、例えばThe Dow Chemical CompanyからInspire(著作権)114 EUおよびBorealisからBorECO(登録商標)BA2000などが市販されている。EP2145923A1に記載の異相ポリプロピレンも参照できる。
別段の指示がない限り、本発明で挙げるパラメーターは、以下に記載の測定法に従って測定される。
MFI(230℃、2.16kg)およびMFI(190℃、2.16kg)は、ISO1133に従って測定された。
引張弾性率は、2mmの厚さの射出成形試料でISO527−2/1BA/50に従って測定された(試験試料の主軸は射出方向に平行)。
曲げ弾性率は、射出成形試験片を使用することによりISO178に従って測定された(試験試料の主軸は射出方向に平行)(80×10×4mm)。
引張衝撃は、ISO8256/3Aに従って測定された。試験片を、0.7から0.8mmの厚さを有する押出板からダイカットした。
密度は、ISO1183に従って測定された。
溶融強度および延伸性は、破壊が起こるまで一定の加速度で溶融ポリマーのストランドを引っ張ることにより測定される。測定はGottfert Rheotens装置で行われた。
結晶化度は、示差走査熱量計(DSC)により測定される。この測定において、プロピレンポリマーの小さい10mgの試料をアルミニウムDSCパンに封入する。試料を、25cm3/分の窒素パージ下のDSCセルに置き、約−100℃に冷却する。
結晶化度%=(ΔH(実測))/(ΔH(アイソタクチックpp))×100
ここで、アイソタクチックポリプロピレンの融解熱(ΔH(アイソタクチックpp))は、ポリマー1グラムあたり165ジュール(J/g)になることがB. Wunderlich、Macromolecular Physics、3巻、Crystal Melting、Academic Press、New York、1960年、48頁に記録されている。溶融による結晶化のピーク温度は、上記のようにDSCにより10℃/分の冷却速度で決定される。融解温度は、融解転移のピークにより決定される。
融解温度は、DSC(加熱速度:10℃/分)により融解転移のピークにより決定される。
コモノマー含有量はFTIR分光法により決定される。
ポリマー2.5gを、撹拌しながら135℃でキシレン250mlに溶解させる。20分後、溶液を撹拌しながら25℃に冷却し、次いで30分間沈殿させる。沈殿物を濾紙で濾過し、溶液を窒素流下で蒸発させ、残渣を恒量まで80℃にて真空下で乾燥させる。次いで、室温のキシレンに可溶性のポリマーの重量%(キシレン低温可溶物−XCS)を計算する。最終ブレンド(すなわちHDPE、PPおよびCaCO3を含む組成物)のキシレン低温可溶物量を決定する場合、純粋なポリマー成分に対する上に言及した他の測定パラメーターはすべて同じままで、前記ブレンド5.0gをキシレン250mlに溶解させる。
本発明全体で、d50は、重量で中程度の粒径である、すなわち粒子の50重量%が粗大または微細であるような粒径を示す。したがって、d98は、粒子の98重量%が微細である、すなわち前記d98値を下回る粒径を有するような粒径を示す。
比表面積は、ISO9277に従って窒素およびBET法を用いて測定した。
ノッチ付きシャルピー衝撃強度は、ISO179−1/1eAに従って射出成形試料で23℃にて測定された。
無機充填剤の含水量は、水とヨウ素との定量的反応を利用する正確で周知の水分測定法であるカールフィッシャー滴定法で決定される。この方法は、高い選択性および感度により標準的な水分測定法として広く使用されている。
ゲル浸透クロマトグラフィーにより決定。
実施例E1−E7および比較例CE1−CE2において、以下の試料を調製した。
d50=約1.6μm
BET表面積(ステアリン酸処理前)=約4m2/g
を有するGCCであった。
実施例E1−E7ですでに使用した高密度ポリエチレン、
実施例E1−E7ですでに使用した炭酸カルシウム、ならびに
2000MPaの曲げ弾性率、0.900g/cm3の密度および0.3g/10分のメルトフローインデックスMFI(230℃、2.16kg)を有するポリプロピレン
を含有するブレンドを調製した。
Claims (16)
- (i)2.0g/10分未満のメルトフローインデックスMFI(230℃、2.16kg)、
1200から2400MPaの曲げ弾性率、
0.895から0.910g/cm3の密度
を有するポリプロピレン、
(ii)0.1から2.0g/10分のメルトフローインデックスMFI(190℃、2.16kg)を有する高密度ポリエチレン、
(iii)炭酸カルシウムである無機充填剤
を含み、ポリプロピレンが、プロピレンホモポリマーおよび/またはコポリマーからなるマトリックス、および前記マトリックス中に分散したエラストマー相を含む異相ポリプロピレンであり、前記エラストマー相が、プロピレン−エチレンコポリマーまたはプロピレン/C 4−8 αオレフィンコポリマーである、組成物。 - 少なくとも20cNの溶融強度を有する、請求項1に記載の組成物。
- 前記エラストマー相が、エチレンプロピレンゴム(EPR)である、請求項1から2の一項に記載の組成物。
- 異相ポリプロピレンが、3から35重量%のキシレン低温可溶物(XCS)量を有する、請求項1から3の一項に記載の組成物。
- 異相ポリプロピレンが、1.5から30重量%のエチレンおよび/またはC 4−8 αオレフィンに由来するコモノマー単位量を有する、請求項1から4の一項に記載の組成物。
- ポリプロピレンが、示差走査熱量計(DSC)で測定したとき、少なくとも158℃の融点を有する、請求項1から5の一項に記載の組成物。
- 高密度ポリエチレンが、2から15の多分散性Mw/Mnを有する、請求項1から6の一項に記載の組成物。
- 炭酸カルシウムが、重質炭酸カルシウム(GCC)もしくは沈降炭酸カルシウム(PCC)である、請求項1から7の一項に記載の組成物。
- 無機充填剤が、0.5から5μmの中央粒径d50および/または1から15m2/gのBET比表面積および/または3から30μmのd98値を有する、請求項1から8の一項に記載の組成物。
- 炭酸カルシウムが、疎水化剤で表面処理されている、請求項1から9の一項に記載の組成物。
- 疎水化剤が、C 8−24 脂肪酸またはこの塩もしくはエステルである、請求項10に記載の組成物。
- ポリプロピレンが、組成物の全重量に対して10から50重量%の量で存在する、および/または高密度ポリエチレンが、組成物の全重量に対して30から70重量%の量で存在する、および/または無機充填剤が、組成物の全重量に対して1から50重量%の量で存在する、請求項1から11の一項に記載の組成物。
- 0.2重量%から8重量%のキシレン低温可溶物(XCS)量を有する、および/または3g/10分以下のメルトフローインデックスMFI(230℃、2.16kg)を有する、請求項1から12の一項に記載の組成物。
