Claims (5)
- 原燃料を改質して改質燃料を生成する改質器(302)と、
前記改質燃料と酸化剤との供給を受けて発電する燃料電池スタックと、
前記燃料電池スタックから排出された前記改質燃料を燃焼させることにより、前記改質器を加熱する燃焼器(20)と、
前記燃料電池スタック、前記改質器、及び前記燃焼器を内部に収容するケース(10)と、を備え、
前記改質器及び前記燃焼器は、前記燃料電池スタックからの輻射熱が直接到達しない位置に配置されており、
前記燃料電池スタックに向けて供給される発電用の空気と、前記燃焼器で生じた燃焼排ガスとが、互いに出入りしないように遮蔽する遮蔽板(BP)が設けられていることを特徴とする燃料電池装置。 - 原燃料を改質して改質燃料を生成する改質器(302)と、
前記改質燃料と酸化剤との供給を受けて発電する燃料電池スタックと、
前記燃料電池スタックから排出された前記改質燃料を燃焼させることにより、前記改質器を加熱する燃焼器(20)と、
前記燃料電池スタック、前記改質器、及び前記燃焼器を内部に収容するケース(10)と、
前記ケースのうち最も内側に配置され、前記燃料電池スタックをその内部に収容する第1筐体(110)と、
当該第1筐体(110)を外側から囲むように配置される第2筐体(120)と、
前記燃料電池スタックに向けて供給される発電用の空気と、前記燃焼器で生じた燃焼排ガスとが、互いに出入りしないように遮蔽する遮蔽板(BP)と、を備え、
前記改質器及び前記燃焼器は、前記燃料電池スタックからの輻射熱が直接到達しない位置に配置されており、
前記第2筐体と前記第1筐体との間には、前記燃料電池スタックに向けて供給される発電用の空気が加熱されながら通る流路(403)となる空間が形成されており、
前記第2筐体の下端部近傍における内側面は、全周に亘って前記遮蔽板の側面と当接されていることを特徴とする燃料電池装置。 - 前記ケースの内部には水平面に沿って前記遮蔽板が配置されており、
前記燃料電池スタックは前記遮蔽板よりも上方に配置され、
前記改質器及び前記燃焼器は前記遮蔽板よりも下方に配置されていることを特徴とする、請求項1又は2に記載の燃料電池装置。 - 上面視において、前記燃焼器は前記ケースの中央となる位置に配置されており、
前記改質器は、前記燃焼器を側方から囲むように配置されていることを特徴とする、請求項3に記載の燃料電池装置。 - 前記燃焼器における燃焼により生じた燃焼排熱と、前記燃料電池スタックに供給される前記酸化剤と、の間で熱交換を行う予熱器(40)を更に備え、
前記予熱器は、前記燃料電池スタックを側方から囲むように配置されていることを特徴とする、請求項1乃至4のいずれか1項に記載の燃料電池装置。
