Abstract
Description
しかし、高速に回転する回転軸の軸荷重の方向に応じてティルティングパッドの角度が傾き、ティルティングパッドとこれを支持するピボットとの間に摩擦が発生する。
これによって、ティルティングパッドの下部とピボットとの間の摩擦によって容易に摩耗し損傷する問題がある。
前記グルーブは、前記ピボットの中心軸と垂直方向に平行に離隔して形成される。
前記オイル捕集部は、周り方向に沿って螺旋状に形成されるグルーブからなる。
前記オイル捕集部は、ポイント形状の複数の溝からなる。
前記オイル捕集部は、リング形状の複数の溝からなる。
前記ピボットの最頂点には前記グルーブまたは前記溝が形成されないことが好ましい。
これによって、ティルティングパッドとピボットとの摩擦による摩耗現象と動力損失の減少が可能である。

Claims (9)
- 円筒状のハウジング本体と、
前記ハウジング本体の内周に沿って配置され、前記ハウジング本体の内面に対向する側面には凹状のソケットが形成された複数のティルティングパッドと、
前記ハウジング本体の内面に固定され、各ティルティングパッドのソケットに挿入される曲面を有する複数のピボットとを含み、
前記ピボットの外周面と前記複数のティルティングパッドのソケットのうちの少なくともいずれか1つには、オイルが捕集されるためのオイル捕集部が具備されるボールソケット型ティルティングパッドジャーナルベアリング。 - 前記ハウジング本体の一側に結合される固定ハウジングをさらに含み、
前記ティルティングパッドの軸方向の上下面に突出して形成された支持ピンは、前記ハウジング本体に形成された溝と前記固定ハウジングに形成された溝にそれぞれ挿入されて固定される請求項1に記載のボールソケット型ティルティングパッドジャーナルベアリング。 - 前記オイル捕集部は、周り方向に沿って円形のグルーブが複数個離隔して形成される請求項2に記載のボールソケット型ティルティングパッドジャーナルベアリング。
- 前記グルーブは、前記複数のピボットの各々の中心軸と垂直方向に互いに平行に離隔して形成される請求項3に記載のボールソケット型ティルティングパッドジャーナルベアリング。
- 前記オイル捕集部は、周り方向に沿って螺旋状に形成されるグルーブからなる請求項2に記載のボールソケット型ティルティングパッドジャーナルベアリング。
- 前記オイル捕集部は、ポイント形状の複数の溝からなる請求項2に記載のボールソケット型ティルティングパッドジャーナルベアリング。
- 前記オイル捕集部は、リング形状の複数の溝からなる請求項2に記載のボールソケット型ティルティングパッドジャーナルベアリング。
- 前記ピボットの最頂点には前記グルーブが形成されない請求項3から請求項5のいずれか1項に記載のボールソケット型ティルティングパッドジャーナルベアリング。
- 前記ピボットの最頂点には前記溝が形成されない請求項6または請求項7に記載のボールソケット型ティルティングパッドジャーナルベアリング。
