ジオポリマー前駆体エアロゲル組成物(実施例1)を以下の通りに調製した。水(19.5グラム)およびケイ酸ナトリウム溶液(35.5グラム)を容器に加えて、混合した。Pluonic P84(0.834グラム)を容器の内容物に溶解して、混合した。フライアッシュ(89.5グラム)を容器の内容物に加えて、700〜900の毎分回転数で、高せん断ミキサー(モデルL1U08ミキサー、LIGHTNIN(登録商標)から入手可能)で混合した。エアロゲル添加剤(3.186グラム)を容器の内容物に加えて、混合した。
ジオポリマーエアロゲル複合体(実施例2)を以下の通りに形成した。実施例1を鋳型に鋳造して、60℃で12時間硬化した。鋳型は、長さ76.2ミリメートル、幅76.2ミリメートルおよび奥行き10ミリメートルであった。実施例2を30体積パーセントのエアロゲル添加剤および70体積パーセントのジオポリマーとして決定した。
ジオポリマー前駆体エアロゲル組成物(実施例3)を以下の変更を用いて実施例1のように調製した。水(29.5グラム)、ケイ酸ナトリウム溶液(35.5グラム)、Pluonic P84(0.834グラム)、フライアッシュ(89.5グラム)およびエアロゲル添加剤(17.350グラム)を用いて、実施例3を形成した。
ジオポリマーエアロゲル複合体(実施例4)を、実施例1の代わりに実施例3を用いた変更と共に、実施例2のように形成した。実施例4を70体積パーセントのエアロゲル添加剤および30体積パーセントのジオポリマーとして決定した。
ジオポリマー前駆体組成物(比較例A)を以下の通りに調製した。水(3.0グラム)およびケイ酸ナトリウム溶液(71.0グラム)を容器に加えて、混合した。フライアッシュ(179.0グラム)を容器の内容物に加えて、700〜900の毎分回転数で、高せん断ミキサー(モデルL1U08ミキサー、LIGHTNIN(登録商標)から入手可能)で混合した。
ジオポリマー(比較例B)を以下の通りに調製した。比較例Aを鋳型に鋳造して、60℃で12時間硬化して、ジオポリマーを形成した。鋳型は、長さ76.2ミリメートル、幅76.2ミリメートルおよび奥行き10ミリメートルであった。
耐火構造(実施例5)を以下の通りに作製した。実施例1のように調製したジオポリマー前駆体エアロゲル組成物を鋳型に鋳造し、次いで発泡材料を鋳造したジオポリマー前駆体エアロゲル組成物上に押圧した。鋳造したジオポリマー前駆体エアロゲル組成物を60℃で12時間硬化して、発泡材料に接着させた厚さ10ミリメートルのジオポリマーエアロゲル複合層を形成した。発泡材料は、The Dow Chemical Companyから入手可能な厚さ150ミリメートルのVORATHERM(商標)CN604ポリイソシアヌレート系で作製したポリイソシアヌレート発泡体であった。厚さ0.3ミリメートルのタイプ304ステンレス鋼板を、非発泡ポリウレタン(FoamFast 74、3M(商標)から入手可能)を用いてジオポリマーエアロゲル複合層に接着させた。
比較例Cは、以下の通りに作製した。比較例Aのように調製したジオポリマー前駆体組成物を鋳型に鋳造し、次いで発泡材料を鋳造したジオポリマー前駆体エアロゲル組成物上に押圧した。鋳造したジオポリマー前駆体組成物を60℃で12時間硬化して、発泡材料に接着させた厚さ10ミリメートルのジオポリマー層を形成した。発泡材料は、The Dow Chemical Companyから入手可能な厚さ150ミリメートルのVORATHERM(商標)CN604ポリイソシアヌレート系で作製したポリイソシアヌレート発泡体であった。厚さ0.3ミリメートルのタイプ304ステンレス鋼板を、非発泡ポリウレタン(FoamFast 74、3M(商標)から入手可能)を用いてジオポリマー層に接着させた。
Claims (10)
- 耐火構造であって、
第1の表面材と第2の表面材との間に位置する発泡材料と、
前記発泡材料に隣接し、前記発泡材料と前記第1の表面材との間のジオポリマーエアロゲル複合層とを含み、
前記発泡材料は、ポリウレタン発泡体、ポリイソシアヌレート発泡体、フェノール樹脂発泡体、およびそれらの組み合わせから選択され、
前記ジオポリマーエアロゲル複合層が、
アルミノケイ酸塩反応物と、
ジオポリマー前駆体アルカリ活性剤と、
シリカエアロゲル添加剤と、
分散媒と、
を含み、
前記アルミノケイ酸塩反応物と前記ジオポリマー前駆体アルカリ活性剤とは反応し、式:
で示されるジオポリマーを形成する、ジオポリマー前駆体エアロゲル組成物を硬化することによって形成される、耐火構造。 - 前記アルミノケイ酸塩反応物が、フライアッシュ、焼成クレー、冶金スラグおよびそれらの組み合わせからなる群から選択される、請求項1に記載の耐火構造。
- 前記フライアッシュが、クラスFフライアッシュ、クラスCフライアッシュおよびそれらの組み合わせからなる群から選択される、請求項2に記載の耐火構造。
- 前記アルカリ活性剤が、ケイ酸ナトリウムを含む、請求項1〜3のいずれか1項に記載の耐火構造。
- 前記アルカリ活性剤が、水酸化ナトリウム、水酸化カリウム、およびそれらの組み合わせからなる群から選択されるアルカリ性水酸化物を含む、請求項1〜4のいずれか1項に記載の耐火構造。
- 前記組成物が、アルミナエアロゲル、カーボンエアロゲルまたはそれらの組み合わせをさらに含む、請求項1〜5のいずれか1項に記載の耐火構造。
- 前記シリカエアロゲル添加剤が、1立方センチメートル当たり0.02グラムから1立方センチメートル当たり0.25グラムまでの密度を有する、請求項1〜6のいずれか1項に記載の耐火構造。
- 前記シリカエアロゲル添加剤が、1ナノメートル〜70ナノメートルの平均孔径を有する、請求項1〜7のいずれか1項に記載の耐火構造。
- 前記アルミノケイ酸塩反応物の重量パーセント、前記アルカリ活性剤の重量パーセント、前記シリカエアロゲル添加剤の重量パーセントおよび前記分散媒の重量パーセントが合計して組成物の100重量パーセントになるように、前記アルミノケイ酸塩反応物が前記組成物重量の10重量パーセント〜90重量パーセントであり、前記アルカリ活性剤が前記組成物重量の10重量パーセント〜90重量パーセントであり、前記シリカエアロゲル添加剤が前記組成物重量の0.25重量パーセント〜50重量パーセントであり、および前記分散媒が前記組成物重量の10重量パーセント〜90重量パーセントである、請求項1〜8のいずれか1項に記載の耐火構造。
- 前記ジオポリマー前駆体エアロゲル組成物がさらに界面活性剤を含む、請求項1〜9のいずれか1項に記載の耐火構造。
