Description
かかる態様では、キャップのリブの当接領域の外側に基準穴を設ける場合、鋭角の角部に対応する一対の第1の曲線部分の外側には鈍角の角部に対応する一対の第2の曲線部分より大きなスペースが残るので、それぞれにつながる2つの直線部分をそれぞれを延長させた仮想線上の交点のうち、第2の交点よりも第1の交点に近い位置に、基準穴を有することにより固定板自体を大きくすることなく、基準穴を配置できる。また、基準穴はキャップのリブとの当接領域の外側にあるので、キャップ時に隙間が生じることもなく、当接領域の内側に設ける場合のように基準穴にインクが堆積することを防止することができる。なお、複数の直線部分には、第1の曲線部分と第2の曲線部分とにつながる直線部分、2つの第1の曲線部分につながる直線部分、及び、2つの第2の曲線部分につながる直線部分が含まれる。
かかる態様では、固定板自体を大きくすることなく、基準穴を配置した液体噴射ヘッドを複数個並設することにより、小型化を図った長尺ラインヘッドが実現できる。また基準穴はキャップのリブとの当接領域の外側にあるので、キャップ時に隙間が生じることもなく、当接領域の内側に設ける場合のように基準穴にインクが堆積することを防止することができ、液体噴射ヘッドの並設方向にワイピングする場合にも、仮に基準穴に堆積した液体があってもノズル開口へのワイピングに影響を与えることがない。
かかる態様では、小型化を図った液体噴射ヘッドを具備する液体噴射装置が実現できる。また、基準穴はキャップのリブとの当接領域の外側にあるので、キャップ時に隙間が生じることもなく、当接領域の内側に設ける場合のように基準穴にインクが堆積することを防止することができる。
かかる態様では、小型化を図った液体噴射ヘッドユニットを具備する液体噴射装置が実現できる。また、基準穴はキャップのリブとの当接領域の外側にあるので、キャップ時に隙間が生じることもなく、当接領域の内側に設ける場合のように基準穴にインクが堆積することを防止することができる。

図1は、本発明の実施形態1に係る液体噴射装置の一例であるインクジェット式記録装置の概略構成を示す斜視図である。

Claims (9)
- 液体噴射面に対するキャップのリブと、環状の当接領域により当接可能な固定板と、
前記液体噴射面に設けられたノズル開口を介して液体を噴射するための駆動素子と、を備え、
前記キャップは、前記液体噴射面に対して相対移動し、
前記固定板は、鋭角の角部と鈍角の角部とを有する形状であり、
前記当接領域は、前記固定板に垂直な方向から見た場合に、前記鋭角の角部に対応する一対の第1の曲線部分と、前記鈍角の角部に対応する一対の第2の曲線部分と、一対の前記第1の曲線部分及び一対の前記第2の曲線部分のうちの2つの曲線部分をつなげた複数の直線部分とを含み、
前記固定板は、前記液体噴射面における前記当接領域の外側のうち、前記第1の曲線部分につながる2つの前記直線部分をそれぞれ延長させた仮想線上の第1の交点と、前記第2の曲線部分につながる2つの前記直線部分をそれぞれ延長させた仮想線上の第2の交点とのうち、前記第2の交点よりも前記第1の交点に近い位置に、基準穴を有する、
ことを特徴とする液体噴射ヘッド。 - 前記第1の曲線部分は、前記第2の曲線部分よりも、曲率の絶対値が小さいことを特徴とする請求項1記載の液体噴射ヘッド。
- 前記固定板は、前記当接領域を複数有し、
前記基準穴は、複数の前記当接領域の間に設けられていることを特徴とする請求項1又は2記載の液体噴射ヘッド。 - 前記基準穴は、前記固定板の前記鈍角の角部よりも、前記固定板の前記鋭角の角部の近傍に設けられていることを特徴とする請求項1又は2記載の液体噴射ヘッド。
- 前記基準穴は、前記固定板の面内方向のうち前記固定板に対してワイパーを相対的に移動させる場合の移動方向と垂直な方向において、複数のノズル開口が設けられた領域の外側に位置することを特徴とする請求項1〜4の何れか一項に記載の液体噴射ヘッド。
- 前記基準穴は、前記固定板の面内方向のうち前記固定板に対してワイパーを相対的に移動させる場合の移動方向と垂直な方向において、前記当接領域の外側に位置することを特徴とする請求項1〜5の何れか一項に記載の液体噴射ヘッド。
- 請求項1〜6の何れか一項記載の液体噴射ヘッドと、
前記液体噴射面の面内方向において、基準方向に複数並設された前記液体噴射ヘッドを保持する固定基板と、を具備することを特徴とする液体噴射ヘッドユニット。 - 請求項1〜6の何れか一項記載の液体噴射ヘッドを具備することを特徴とする液体噴射装置。
- 請求項7記載の液体噴射ヘッドユニットを具備することを特徴とする液体噴射装置。
