本出願は、2009年10月9日に出願された米国特許仮出願公開第61/250,313号明細書と、2010年6月18日に出願された米国特許出願公開第12/818,551号明細書と、2010年6月18日に出願された米国特許出願公開第12/818,575号明細書との優先権の利益を主張し、これらは全ての目的のために参照によって本明細書の一部を構成する。
図8に示されている概略的な構成を有する可とう性ステントグラフトが組み立てられた。
図2Aと図2Bとを参照すると、金属マンドレル200が、そのマンドレルの一方の末端の中に形成されているスロット202を有して形成された。このスロット202は背壁204上で終端する。このマンドレルは約31mmの直径を有し,このスロットは約12.5mmの幅と約10mmの深さと約13cmの長さとを有した。図2Bに示されているように、内側チューブ206はマンドレル200上に半径方向に伸張させられ且つマンドレル溝202の一部を覆った。内側チューブは、押出し成形されて延伸させられたポリテトラフルオロエチレン(PTFE)のチューブだった。この内側チューブは、約60mmの長さと、約0.06mmの壁厚さと、約26mmの直径とを有した。この内側チューブは、そのチューブが長手方向で相対的に強く且つ同時に半径方向で相対的に弱いように、実質的な長手方向の繊維方向配置を有した。

開口部を有する最内側チューブと開口部を有する最外側チューブとから構成されているグラフトによって画定され、最内側チューブの連続した内面によって画定された内部表面、及び外部表面を有する主管腔であって、前記グラフトが主ステントによって支持されている、主管腔と、
前記グラフトの前記最内側チューブと前記最外側チューブとの間に配置され、最内側チューブの外面と最外側チューブの内面とにより部分的に画定された内部表面を有する副管腔と
を備え、
前記副管腔は、前記最外側チューブの開口部及び前記最内側チューブの開口部を通して、前記主管腔と流体連通していることを特徴とする、多腔型ステントグラフト。 - 前記副管腔は、前記最内側チューブの内面によって画定された外部表面を備える、請求項1に記載のステントグラフト。
- 前記副管腔は副ステント又はステントアセンブリを備える、請求項1に記載のステントグラフト。
