Description
本出願は、2009年10月9日に出願された米国特許仮出願公開第61/250,313号明細書と、2010年6月18日に出願された米国特許出願公開第12/818,551号明細書と、2010年6月18日に出願された米国特許出願公開第12/818,575号明細書との優先権の利益を主張し、これらは全ての目的のために参照によって本明細書の一部を構成する。
図8に示されている概略的な構成を有する可とう性ステントグラフトが組み立てられた。
図2Aと図2Bとを参照すると、金属マンドレル200が、そのマンドレルの一方の末端の中に形成されているスロット202を有して形成された。このスロット202は背壁204上で終端する。このマンドレルは約31mmの直径を有し,このスロットは約12.5mmの幅と約10mmの深さと約13cmの長さとを有した。図2Bに示されているように、内側チューブ206はマンドレル200上に半径方向に伸張させられ且つマンドレル溝202の一部を覆った。内側チューブは、押出し成形されて延伸させられたポリテトラフルオロエチレン(PTFE)のチューブだった。この内側チューブは、約60mmの長さと、約0.06mmの壁厚さと、約26mmの直径とを有した。この内側チューブは、そのチューブが長手方向で相対的に強く且つ同時に半径方向で相対的に弱いように、実質的な長手方向の繊維方向配置を有した。
Claims (18)
- ステントグラフトであって、
血流用の管腔を画定する管腔表面と、血管壁と接触する反管腔側の表面とを有するグラフトと、
反対の第1及び第2の方向に延在する尖部を画定する波状起伏を有するステントと、
第1及び第2の長手方向の端縁を備えるテープ部材であって、前記ステントに熱可塑性接着剤によって接着されているテープ部材と、
を備え、
前記テープ部材及び前記ステントは、前記グラフトの反管腔側の表面の周りを螺旋状に延在するとともに、この反管腔側の表面にしっかりと固定されて列を形成し、その結果各列において前記テープ部材の第1の長手方向端縁が隣の列のステントの尖部を実質的に覆い、これにより第1の方向において閉じ込められた一連の尖部が形成されるとともに、第2の方向において閉じ込められていない一連の尖部が形成され、これによりステントグラフトは、長手方向に圧縮されると、前記グラフトの管腔表面と反管腔側の表面との双方に沿って円周方向に方向配置された一方向性の折りひだを形成し、前記閉じ込められた尖部が前記ステントグラフトの長手方向の圧縮に応じて隣の折りひだの下に位置させられる、
ことを特徴とする、ステントグラフト。 - 前記第1の方向の尖部は前記グラフトに閉じ込められており、前記第2の方向の尖部は前記グラフトに対して閉じ込められていない、請求項1に記載のステントグラフト。
- 前記第2の方向の尖部は前記グラフトに閉じ込められており、前記第1の方向の尖部は前記グラフトに対して閉じ込められていない、請求項1に記載のステントグラフト。
- 前記ステントは,前記グラフトの周りに螺旋状に巻き付けられた単一の連続ワイヤから形成されている、請求項1に記載のステントグラフト。
- 前記ステントは自己拡張型ステントである、請求項1に記載のステントグラフト。
- 前記ステントはニチノールから作られている、請求項1に記載のステントグラフト。
- 前記ステントはバルーン拡張型ステントである、請求項1に記載のステントグラフト。
- 前記波状起伏は正弦波形状を有する、請求項1に記載のステントグラフト。
- 前記一方向性の折りひだは展開後に生体内で形成される、請求項1に記載のステントグラフト。
- 前記グラフトはポリテトラフルオロエチレンを含む、請求項1に記載のステントグラフト。
- 前記ポリテトラフルオロエチレンは延伸させられている、請求項10に記載のステントグラフト。
- 前記テープ部材はポリテトラフルオロエチレンを含む、請求項1に記載のステントグラフト。
- 前記テープ部材は熱可塑性接着剤をさらに含む、請求項1に記載のステントグラフト。
- 前記熱可塑性接着剤はFEPである、請求項13に記載のステントグラフト。
