実施例で使用した材料を表1に示す。
伸長率
各配合物を数滴ずつ、2.54cm×5.08cmのCHGゲルパッド(例えば、3M Tegaderm(商標)CHG Dressing、カタログ番号1657、スリー・エム社(3M Company)、ミネソタ州セントポール)全体に塗り広げた。配合物は、薄いフィルムに塗り広げ、室温で少なくとも15分間、乾燥(硬化)させた。次に、CHGゲルパッドをその初期長さの100%又は200%にまで伸ばし、伸ばされた位置で維持されるように平らな表面上に置いた。少なくとも5滴の一般的な漂白剤を、コーティングされたゲルの上に置いた。コーティングが破断している場合には、漂白剤中のNaOClがゲルパッド中のCHGと反応して褐色となった。漂白剤を加えた後、硬化した配合物を、15分以内の破断量について目視にて評価し、各液滴中の褐色の着色量を記録した。記録した破断率(%)は、5滴の平均である。
抵抗は、乾燥したコーティングを指で軽く擦ることによって行われる感覚的な評価である。各コーティングは、1(低)〜5(高)で評価した。
粘着は、ゲル上の乾燥したコーティングを指で軽く触れることによって行われる感覚的な評価である。各コーティングは、1(粘着なし)〜5(感圧接着剤様の粘着)で評価した。
ブロッキングは、材料がそれ自身に接着する傾向のことである。乾燥したコーティングはべたつきは感じられないが、2つのコーティングされた表面を接触させると、コーティング同士は互いに親和性を示して接着する。この性質をブロッキングと呼ぶ。試験は、コーティングをCHGゲルパッド上で1時間乾燥させることによって行う。次に、コーティングがそれ自身に触れるようにゲルパッドを半分に折り畳む。指で10秒間、軽く圧力を加える。圧力を解放した後、ゲル表面同士が接着することなく離れればそのコーティングを1と評価し、表面同士が互いに強く接着していれば5と評価する。
(1〜実施例13)
各成分を密封したガラス容器中で加え合わせ、溶解するまで混合しながら65℃に加熱した(24〜48時間)。試験を行う前に溶液を室温に冷却した。
幾つかのスチレンコポリマーのクラスを含む幾つかのエラストマーゴムと、所定の濃度の範囲のスチレンとを、シクロヘキサン中で配合した。各配合物及び硬化した各コーティングの試験結果を表2に示す。極めて弾性の高いバリアフィルムが得られた。
Claims (5)
- ゴムエラストマーと、
揮発性液体と、を含む形状適合性コーティング組成物であって、
前記揮発性液体が、全組成物の少なくとも40重量%であり、
前記ゴムエラストマーが低表面エネルギー物質で化学修飾されている、組成物。 - 重合性シアノアクリレートモノマーである止血剤を更に含む、請求項1に記載の組成物。
- 前記揮発性液体が、揮発性の直鎖状及び環状シロキサン、揮発性のポリジメチルシロキサン、イソオクタン、オクタン、及びこれらの組み合わせからなる群から選択される、請求項1に記載の組成物。
- 前記ゴムエラストマーが、前記揮発性液体中に可溶であるか又は前記揮発性液体中で大きく膨潤する、ポリイソブチレン、ポリイソプレン、ブチルゴム、ハロゲン化ブチルゴム、ジエン、スチレンコポリマー、アクリロニトリルコポリマー、及びこれらのコポリマー又は混合物からなる群から選択される、請求項1に記載の組成物。
- 前記低表面エネルギー物質がシリコーン、フッ素化オリゴマー、又は炭化水素系オリゴマー物質である、請求項1記載の組成物。
