電源ラインの故障位置にもよるが、線抵抗R1、R2は何れも数オーム程度であり、電源ラインL1と電源ラインL2とでそれほどの差はない。このため、負電流I2は、実質的には、電圧V1と電圧V2の差によって決まる。図4Aの例のように電圧V1と電圧V2との差が大きく、電流検知回路224aにおいて微小な正電流しか検知できないような場合には、電流検知回路224bにおいて大きな負電流が検知される。この負電流を検出することで、短絡故障を判断することが可能である。
Claims (4)
- イメージセンサと、
前記イメージセンサに電力を供給する複数の電源と、
前記複数の電源と前記イメージセンサとの間のそれぞれの電源ラインに流れる正電流及び負電流を検知する電流検知回路と、
前記電源ラインにおいて負電流が流れた場合に、短絡故障が生じたと判断する故障判断回路と、
を具備する撮像装置。 - 前記故障判断回路は、さらに、前記電源ラインにおいて閾値以上の正電流が流れた場合に、短絡故障が生じたと判断する請求項1に記載の撮像装置。
- 前記複数の電源の前記イメージセンサに対する出力電力の大きさは互いに異なっている請求項1に記載の撮像装置。
- 前記故障判断回路は、さらに、前記電源ラインに流れた負電流の大きさに基づいて、前記短絡故障が生じた電源ライン及び前記短絡故障が生じた位置を判断する請求項1に記載の撮像装置。
