Description
本出願は、2011年10月21日に出願され「Simulated tissue structure for surgical training」と題された米国仮特許出願第61/549,838号の優先権と利益を主張するものであり、その全体が参照により本明細書に組み込まれる。
本出願は一般に、外科訓練ツールに関し、具体的には、様々な外科の技法および手技を教示しかつ練習するための、臓器または組織を模した解剖学的モデルに関する。
本発明の別の態様によれば、外科訓練のための模擬組織構造が提供される。この模擬組織構造は、模擬組織部分を含む少なくとも1つの模擬組織モジュールを備える。構造は、第2の表面とは反対側の第1の表面を有しかつそれらの間にある厚さを画定する、モジュール支持体を含む。モジュール支持体は、少なくとも1つの模擬組織モジュールを受容してそれと結合するためのサイズおよび形状となされた、少なくとも1つのモジュール受容部分を含む。模擬組織モジュールは、少なくとも1つのモジュール受容部分に挿入可能でありかつそこから取り外し可能であり、また、別の模擬組織モジュールと交換可能である。
本発明の別の態様によれば、外科訓練のための方法が提供される。この方法は、ベース層とカバー層との間に配置された人工腫瘍を備える模擬組織構造を用意するステップを含む。ベース層およびカバー層は、メッシュ補強材を含むことができる弾性ポリマーで作られる。
Claims (20)
- 外科訓練のための模擬組織構造であって、
ベース層と、
前記ベース層の上方に配置されかつ前記ベース層に結合された欠損層であって、少なくとも1つの間隙を画定している少なくとも1つの欠損部を含む欠損層と、
前記欠損層の上方に配置されかつ前記欠損部の少なくとも一部分を覆う模擬腫瘍と、
前記ベース層の上方に配置されかつ前記腫瘍を覆うカバー層と、を備える、模擬組織構造。 - 前記欠損層が、前記ベース層から延在する複数の突出部を含む、請求項1に記載の模擬組織構造。
- 前記欠損層の厚さが一様でない、請求項1に記載の模擬組織構造。
- 前記欠損層が、複数の欠損部を含む、請求項1に記載の模擬組織構造。
- 前記欠損層が、2つ以上の並置された小片を含む、請求項1に記載の模擬組織構造。
- 前記カバー層が、透明かまたは半透明である、請求項1に記載の模擬組織構造。
- 前記カバー層が、前記腫瘍および欠損層を覆う、請求項1に記載の模擬組織構造。
- 前記欠損部が、前記少なくとも1つの間隙を間に画定している並置された2つの表面を含む、請求項1に記載の模擬組織構造。
- 前記ベース層が、管形状である、請求項1に記載の模擬組織構造。
- 前記ベース層、欠損層、およびカバー層のうちの少なくとも1つが、メッシュ材料を含む、請求項1に記載の模擬組織構造。

前記模擬組織モジュールが、前記少なくとも1つのモジュール受容部分への挿入およびそこからの取り外しが可能であり、かつ、別の模擬組織モジュールと交換可能であり、
前記モジュール支持体が、弾性ポリマーで作られた第1の層、および低密度弾性フォームで作られた第2の層を含み、前記モジュール受容部分が、少なくとも前記第2の層に形成される、模擬組織構造。 - 前記モジュール受容部分が、前記第1の表面に開口部を有しかつ前記モジュール支持体内まで延在している空洞を画定する、請求項11に記載の模擬組織構造。
- 前記モジュール受容部分が、前記第1の表面に第1の開口部を含み、かつ前記モジュール支持体内まで延在し、かつ前記第2の表面において第2の開口部と相互接続し、前記少なくとも1つの模擬組織モジュールが、前記第1および第2の開口部の間に配置されるように構成されている、請求項11に記載の模擬組織構造。
- 前記模擬組織部分が、少なくとも1つの模擬腫瘍または外科練習ターゲットを含む、請求項11に記載の模擬組織構造。
- 前記模擬組織モジュールが、前記模擬組織部分を保持するように構成されたフレームを含み、前記フレームおよびモジュール支持体が、前記モジュール支持体のモジュール受容部分において互いに結合するように構成されている、請求項11に記載の模擬組織構造。
- 前記模擬組織モジュールが、第1の弾性層と第2の弾性層との間に位置するシリコーン材料で作られた模擬腫瘍を含み、前記第1および第2の弾性層のうちの少なくとも一方が、シリコーンおよびメッシュ補強材で作られている、請求項11に記載の模擬組織構造。
- 前記模擬組織モジュールが前記モジュール支持体の前記第1の表面および前記第2の表面からアクセス可能であるように、前記模擬組織モジュールおよび前記モジュール支持体が構成されている、請求項11に記載の模擬組織構造。
- 前記モジュール支持体が、ヒトの子宮を模倣する形状となされている、請求項11に記載の模擬組織構造。
- 外科訓練のための方法であって、
ベース層とカバー層との間に配置された人工腫瘍を含む模擬組織構造を用意すること、
前記模擬組織構造が少なくとも部分的に使用者の視界から隠されるように、前記模擬組織構造を外科訓練デバイスの模擬体腔内に設置すること、
前記人工腫瘍を前記模擬組織構造から除去すること、
使用者が、実質的に前記腫瘍の下方に、間に間隙を画定している隣接した2つの表面を含む少なくとも1つ欠損部を生成すること、および、
前記間隙を閉鎖して前記隣接した2つの表面をくっつけることを含む、方法。 - 前記少なくとも1つの欠損部は、前記模擬組織構造内に設けられた欠損層に生成される、請求項19に記載の方法。
