Description
今日知られている鋳造目的の無機バインダー系は、改善のための大きな余地を未だに残している。中でも、(a)金属鋳造中にCO2および有機熱分解産物の排出物を形成させず、(b)自動化された仕上げ処理において要求される対応する強度レベル(特に、耐熱性および保存後の強度)を達成し、(c)砂の付着、砂の焼き付き、浸透および変色が明らかにほとんど存在しない鋳造部品の鋳造表面の取得を可能にすることにより、コーティングまたは黒み塗りなしに、前記鋳造部品についての洗浄努力を最少化する、完全に無機バインダー系を開発するのが望まれている。前記鋳造部品の更なる処理は、時間、労力および材料の大きな消費を必要とするため、製造におけるかなりのコスト要因を意味する。したがって、前記鋳型から除去された直後に既に、前記鋳造部品は、既に、高い表面品質を有するべきである。
前記鋳型材料混合物に硫酸バリウムを添加することにより、製造直後および長期保存後の両方において高い強度を有する、無機バインダーに基づく鋳型が製造され得ることが、驚くべきことに見出された。さらに、金属鋳造後に、非常に高い表面品質を有する鋳造部品が取得される。したがって、前記鋳型の除去後に、前記鋳造部品のわずかな更なる表面処理のみを必要とするか、または、更なる表面処理を必要としない。この利点は、前記鋳造部品の製造についての明らかにより低いコストに関連する。

・前記成形された鋳型材料混合物を硬化させる工程、この場合、硬化した鋳型が取得される。
前記鋳型材料混合物を試験するために、いわゆる、Georg−Fischer試験バーを製造した。Georg−Fischer試験バーは、150mm×22.36mm×22.36mmの寸法を有する矩形の試験バーである。前記鋳型材料混合物の組成を、表1に示す。前記Georg−Fischer試験バーを製造するための手法は、以下の通りである。
−表1に列記された成分を、研究室ブレードミキサー(company Vogel & Schemmann AG、Hagen、DE)において混合する。この目的のために、まず、石英砂を開始材料として導入した。前記水ガラスを、攪拌下において添加した。水ガラスとして、カリウムの割合を含んだナトリウム水ガラスを使用した。このため、下記表において、係数は、SiO2:M2Oにより示される。Mは、ナトリウムとカリウムとの合計を示す。前記混合物を1分間攪拌した後、非晶質SiO2および/または硫酸バリウムを、場合により、持続的な攪拌下において添加した。その後、前記混合物をもう1分間攪拌した。
−前記鋳型材料混合物を、company Roperwerk−Giessereimaschinen GmbH、Viersen、DEからのH2.5 Hot Boxコア射出機の貯蔵ホッパーに移した。その成形型を180℃に加熱した。
−前記鋳型材料混合物を、前記型内に圧縮空気(5bar)によって導入した。それを、前記成形型内でさらに35秒間とどめた。
−前記混合物の硬化を加速させるために、高温空気(2bar、前記成形型内の流入口において100℃)を、最後の20秒の間、前記成形型に導入した。
−前記成形型を開き、前記試験バーを取り出した。
−取り出し後10秒(高温強度)
−取り出し後1時間(低温強度)
a) 前記水ガラスの総量に基づいて、おおよそ2.1のSiO2:M2Oの重量比を有するアルカリ水ガラス。おおよそ35%の固形分率
b) マイクロシリカ white GHL DL971W(非晶質SiO2、company RW silicium GmbH;電気アーク炉でのシリコンの冶金製造由来)
c) 重晶石粉末C11(天然の硫酸バリウム、company Sachtleben Bergbau GmbH & Co KG)
d) 硫酸バリウム(沈降、company Sigma Aldrich)
e) Boronid SCP1(窒化ホウ素、company ESK Ceramics GmbH & Co.KG)
f) Boronid S6(六方晶窒化ホウ素、company ESK Ceramics GmbH & Co.KG)
g) Boronid S12(六方晶窒化ホウ素、company ESK Ceramics GmbH & Co.KG)
h) コランダム(コランダム、company Treibacher Schleifmittel)
i) タルク H100(company Franz Mandt GmbH & Co.KG)
k) 光沢粉末グラファイト 85(company Technografit GmbH)
l) ジルコニウムシリケート(company Cofermin Rohstoffe GmbH & Co.KG)
鋳造表面における鋳型材料添加剤としての硫酸バリウムの影響を研究し、本発明に基づかない鋳型材料混合物と比較して評価した。この目的のために、下記手法を使用した。
−表1における前記鋳型材料混合物1.01から1.18のGeorg−Fischer試験バーを、鋳造過程中に、4つの長手方向の内3つが鋳造金属と接触するような方法で、砂の鋳型に内包させた。
−おおよそ735℃の鋳造温度において、226型のアルミニウム合金で、鋳造を行った。
−前記鋳型を冷却した後、鋳造部品を、高頻度のハンマー打撃により砂から取り出した。
−その後、前記鋳造部品を、残った砂の付着および粗さに関して評価した。
Claims (20)
- 少なくとも、
耐火性鋳型ベース材料;
水ガラスに基づくバインダー;
硫酸バリウム;ならびに
非晶質SiO2、酸化アルミニウムおよびアルミノシリケートならびにそれらの混合物の群から選択される微粒子状の金属酸化物を含む、
金属加工用の鋳型を製造するための鋳型材料混合物。 - 前記鋳型材料混合物における前記硫酸バリウムの平均粒径が、0.1μmと90μmとの間である、請求項1に記載の鋳型材料混合物。
- 前記鋳型材料混合物において、前記硫酸バリウムの含量が、0.02から5.0wt%である、請求項1または2に記載の鋳型材料混合物。
- 前記鋳型材料混合物が、最大で0.2wt%の有機化合物を含む、請求項1から3のいずれか一項に記載の鋳型材料混合物。
- 前記水ガラスが、1.6から4.0のSiO2/M2Oのモル比を有し、Mが、リチウム、ナトリウムおよび/またはカリウムを表わす、請求項1から4のいずれか一項に記載の鋳型材料混合物。
- 前記鋳型材料混合物が、前記鋳型ベース材料に基づいて、0.5から5wt%の水ガラスを含み、前記水ガラスの固形分率が25から65wt%である、請求項1から5のいずれか一項に記載の鋳型材料混合物。
- 前記微粒子状の金属酸化物が、0.05μmと10μmとの間の平均一次粒径を有し、それとは独立して1から200m2/gのBET表面積を有する、請求項1から6のいずれか一項に記載の鋳型材料混合物。
- 前記鋳型材料混合物が、前記鋳型ベース材料に基づく各場合において、0.1から2wt%の分量で、それとは独立して、前記バインダーの重量に基づいて、2から60wt%で、非晶質SiO2を含む、請求項7に記載の鋳型材料混合物。
- 使用される前記非晶質SiO2が、15wt%未満の含水量を有し、独立して粉末状で使用される、請求項1、7または8の何れか一項に記載の鋳型材料混合物。
- 前記鋳型材料混合物が、オレイルサルフェート、ステアリルサルフェート、パルミチルサルフェート、ミリスチルサルフェート、ラウリルサルフェート、デシルサルフェート、オクチルサルフェート、2−エチルヘキシルサルフェート、2−エトキシオクチルサルフェート、2−エチルデシルサルフェート、パルミトレイルサルフェート、リノリルサルフェート、ラウリルスルホネート、2−エチルデシルスルホネート、パルミチルスルホネート、ステアリルスルホネート、2−エチルステアリルスルホネート、リノリルスルホネート、ヘキシルホスフェート、2−エチルヘキシルホスフェート、カプリルホスフェート、ラウリルホスフェート、ミリスチルホスフェート、パルミチルホスフェート、パルミトレイルホスフェート、オレイルホスフェート、ステアリルホスフェート、ポリ(1,2−エタンジイル)フェノールヒドロキシホスフェート、ポリ(1,2−エタンジイル)ステアリルホスフェートおよびポリ(1,2−エタンジイル)オレイルホスフェートを含むアニオン性界面活性剤からなる群から選択される界面活性剤をさらに含む、請求項1から9のいずれか一項に記載の鋳型材料混合物。
- 前記鋳型材料混合物において、前記界面活性剤の含量が、前記耐火性鋳型ベース材料の重量に基づいて、0.001から1wt%である、請求項10に記載の鋳型材料混合物。
- 前記鋳型材料混合物が、前記耐火性鋳型ベース材料の重量に基づいて、0.05から1wt%のグラファイトをさらに含む、請求項1から11のいずれか一項に記載の鋳型材料混合物。
- 前記鋳型材料混合物が、前記耐火性鋳型ベース材料の重量に基づいて、0.05から1.0wt%の少なくとも1つのリン含有化合物をさらに含む、請求項1から12のいずれか一項に記載の鋳型材料混合物。
- 請求項1から13のいずれか一項に記載の鋳型材料混合物を調製する工程;
前記鋳型材料混合物を型に導入する工程、および、
熱を適用することによる高温硬化による水の除去によって、前記鋳型材料混合物を硬化させる工程を含む、
鋳型またはコアを製造するための方法。 - 前記鋳型材料混合物が、圧縮空気を使用するコア射出機によって前記型内に導入され、前記型が成形型であり、1つ以上のガス流が前記成形型を貫流する、請求項14に記載の方法。
- 前記鋳型材料混合物が、少なくとも100℃の温度に5分未満の間、硬化させるために曝される請求項14または15に記載の方法。
- 前記鋳型材料混合物が、成形型内に100℃〜180℃の温度の空気を吹き込むことによって加熱される請求項15に記載の方法。
- 請求項1から13のいずれか一項に記載の鋳型材料混合物を調製する工程、
前記鋳型材料混合物を型に導入する工程、
鋳型またはコアを製造するために、熱を適用することによる高温硬化による水の除去によって、前記鋳型材料混合物を硬化させる工程、および、
アルミニウムもしくはアルミニウム合金を前記鋳型内に注入するか、または、液体状のアルミニウムもしくは液体状のアルミニウム合金を前記コアと接触させる工程を含む、
アルミニウムを鋳造するための方法。 - 鋳型またはコアを製造するための硬化が、前記鋳型材料混合物からなる成形型内に100℃から180℃の温度での空気を吹き込むことによる熱硬化である、請求項18に記載の方法。
- 改善された鋳造表面を有する鋳造部品の取得のために、金属鋳造用の鋳型およびコアであって、非晶質SiO2、酸化アルミニウムおよびアルミノシリケートならびにそれらの混合物の群から選択される微粒子状の金属酸化物の存在下において、水ガラスにより硬化される鋳型およびコアの成分としての硫酸バリウムの使用。
