Claims (17)
- ケースと、
前記ケースの内部に挿入され、第1電極および第2電極を有する電極組立体と、
電極端子と、
ヒューズ部を媒介として前記電極端子と連結される電極連結部とを含み、
前記ヒューズ部は、前記ケースの外部に位置し、前記電極連結部から前記電極端子の方へ延設され、
前記電極端子は、前記ケースの外部に位置する短絡タブを含み、
前記第1電極は、前記電極連結部に電気的に連結され、
前記第1電極、前記電極連結部および前記短絡タブは、前記第2電極と電気的に絶縁され、
前記短絡タブと前記ケースとの間に位置する弾性部材をさらに含むことを特徴とする、2次電池。 - 前記第2電極は、前記ケースに電気的に連結され、
前記電極端子は、前記ケースを媒介として前記第2電極と電気的に連結され、前記短絡タブと空間的に分離された短絡部材をさらに含み、
前記短絡部材は、前記短絡タブと接触するように変形されて前記第1電極と前記第2電極を電気的に連結させて短絡状態を発生させることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の2次電池。 - 前記電極連結部は、前記ヒューズ部を含む内部部材を含み、
前記ヒューズ部は、前記ケースの外部に位置し、前記短絡状態が始まる時に発生される短絡電流に反応して前記短絡タブと前記内部部材との連結を切るために溶けることを特徴とする、請求項2に記載の2次電池。 - 前記短絡タブと前記ケースとの間に位置する絶縁部材を含み、
前記弾性部材は、前記絶縁部材と前記ケースとの間に位置することを特徴とする、請求項3に記載の2次電池。 - 前記内部部材は、前記弾性部材を圧縮状態に維持するために前記短絡タブに圧力を作用することを特徴とする、請求項4に記載の2次電池。
- 前記ヒューズ部が溶ける時、前記短絡タブと連結された前記内部部材が移動し、前記圧縮状態の前記弾性部材の弾性力が前記短絡タブに作用して前記短絡部材から前記短絡タブが分離されることを特徴とする、請求項5に記載の2次電池。
- 前記電極端子は、前記ケースの短絡ホールに位置し、
前記弾性部材は、前記短絡ホールの外郭に隣接して設置される少なくとも一つのスプリングを含むことを特徴とする、請求項6に記載の2次電池。 - 前記少なくとも一つのスプリングは、コイルスプリングであることを特徴とする、請求項7に記載の2次電池。
- 前記ケースは、前記弾性部材を収容する少なくとも一つの装着溝を含むことを特徴とする、請求項5〜8のいずれか1項に記載の2次電池。
- 前記少なくとも一つの装着溝は、前記短絡タブ又は前記絶縁部材が前記ケースと接触するように前記圧縮状態で前記弾性部材を収容することを特徴とする、請求項9に記載の2次電池。
- 前記電極連結部は、前記ケースの外部から前記ケースのホールを貫通して前記ケースの内部まで延設されるリベットターミナルを含み、
前記内部部材は、前記ケースの外部で前記リベットターミナルの最外郭に結合されるターミナルプレート、および前記ターミナルプレートと前記ケースとの間に位置して前記リベットターミナルと結合される固定部材を含むことを特徴とする、請求項3〜10のいずれか1項に記載の2次電池。 - 前記ケースから前記リベットターミナルを絶縁するガスケットをさらに含む、請求項11に記載の2次電池。
- 前記固定部材と前記ケースとの間に位置する絶縁部材をさらに含むことを特徴とする、請求項11又は12に記載の2次電池。
- 前記ターミナルプレートを覆う絶縁カバーをさらに含むことを特徴とする、請求項11〜13のいずれか1項に記載の2次電池。
- 前記第1電極は負極であり、前記第2電極は正極であることを特徴とする、請求項3〜14のいずれか1項に記載の2次電池。
- 前記ケースの開口を覆うキャッププレートをさらに含み、
前記短絡タブと前記内部部材は、前記キャッププレートの上に設置されることを特徴とする、請求項3〜15のいずれか1項に記載の2次電池。 - 前記内部部材は、前記ケースの外部表面に近接して平行に延設されることを特徴とする、請求項3〜16のいずれか1項に記載の2次電池。
