図2は、本発明の第1の実施形態の宇宙用冷却器10の構成を示す断面図であり、図3は、宇宙用冷却器10の構成を示す斜視図である。冷却器10は、内管11と、外管12と、吸水体15とを備えている。吸水体15は、外管12の外側を包囲するように設けられている。
図4は、本発明の第2の実施形態の宇宙用冷却器20の構成を示す断面図である。本実施形態の宇宙用冷却器20は、裏側プレート21と、隔壁22と、表側プレート23と、吸水体26とを備えている。裏側プレート21と隔壁22とは互いに対向するように設けられており、裏側プレート21と隔壁22との間に冷媒流路24が形成されている。また、隔壁22と表側プレート23とは互いに対向するように設けられており、隔壁22と表側プレート23の間に供給水流路25が形成されている。裏側プレート21と、隔壁22と、表側プレート23とは、いずれも、熱伝導性が良好な金属材料、例えば銅で形成されている。冷媒流路24と供給水流路25とは熱的に結合されており、冷媒流路24を流れる冷媒と供給水流路25を流れる供給水とは熱交換を行う。

Claims (2)
- 宇宙用冷却器であって、
冷却されるべき冷媒が流される内側流路と、
前記内側流路と熱的に結合された、供給水が流される外側流路と、
当該宇宙用冷却器が宇宙空間で使用されたときに前記宇宙空間に露出される吸水体と、
外管と、
前記外管の内部に収容された内管
とを備え、
前記吸水体には、前記外側流路から前記供給水が供給され、
前記吸水体が、吸水性ポリマーで形成されたポリマー部を含み、
前記吸水性ポリマーが、水を吸収するとゲルになる材料であり、
前記内側流路は、前記内管の内部に形成され、
前記外側流路は、前記外管と前記内管の間に形成され、
前記吸水体は、前記外管の外面を包囲するように形成され、
前記外管には、前記外側流路から前記吸水体に前記供給水を供給する貫通孔が設けられ、
前記内管は、半径方向に突出する複数の突出部を備えると共に、前記突出部の先端において前記外管の内面に接合され、
前記外側流路は、2つの隣接する前記突出部と前記外管の内面とで囲まれる空間として形成された
宇宙用冷却器。 - 請求項1に記載の宇宙用冷却器であって、
前記吸水性ポリマーが、アクリル酸重合体部分ナトリウム塩架橋物、ポリアクリル酸ナトリウム、又は、デンプン・アクリル酸グラフト重合体部分ナトリウム塩のいずれかである
宇宙用冷却器。
