Description
穴32(32a、32b)が円弧状に形成され、その端縁部に沿って格納壁50が配置されることができる。加えて、図11、15、19に示されるように、穴32は種々の形状を有することができる。特に、32aのガス伝達穴は、棚部20の側端縁部52の一部に沿って延びるよう形成され(図11、15)、または棚部20の側端縁部52の全長に沿って延びるよう形成され(図19)ることができる。
加えて、あるいは代わりに、格納壁50は、細胞媒体Cをはじくための疎水性部分を有するよう作製または準備されてもよい。例えば、格納壁50が終端する自由端縁54は、疎水性であるように準備されてもよい。格納壁50の他の部分が同様に扱われてもよい。この効果をさらに高めるため、棚部20の基部28の部分は、棚部20の基部28上における細胞媒体Cの保持を高めるため、親水性に形成されてもよい。これらの種々の無吸引特徴は様々な組み合わせで用いられることができる。
角度βは約0°〜90°の範囲内にあってもよい。0°において、管状首部16は、図2に示されるように、頂部14の側面から突出する。90°において、管状首部16は、図25に示されるように、鉛直の向きを有し、頂部14の基部34から突出する。この配置により、ガス流路40を通り、底部12の基部24付近に位置される容積に至るピペットアクセスが、細胞媒体または細胞の除去のために提供される。

Claims (14)
- 細胞を培養するための容器であって、
基部を含む底部であって、前記底部の前記基部の境界を少なくとも部分的になす上方に延びた壁を備える底部と、
基部を含む頂部であって、前記頂部の前記基部の境界を少なくとも部分的になす下方に延びた壁を備える頂部と、
当該容器から延びる管状首部であって、開口を画成する管状首部と、
一以上の棚部であって、各棚部が基部と、前記棚部の前記基部の境界を少なくとも部分的になす上方に延びた壁とを備える一以上の棚部と、
を備え、
前記一以上の棚部のうちの第1の棚部の前記上方に延びた壁が、前記頂部の前記下方に延びた壁に隣接し、
前記第1の棚部が前記底部と前記頂部の間に位置され、
前記各棚部の前記基部が少なくとも一つの穴を有し、
前記底部、前記頂部および前記一以上の棚部が、集合して、細胞を培養するための囲まれた容積を画成し、前記囲まれた容積が、前記管状首部の前記開口によってアクセス可能であり、
前記底部、前記頂部および前記一以上の棚部の一部が、当該容器の外面の一部を画成する容器。 - 前記少なくとも一つの棚部が第2の棚部を含み、前記第2の棚部が前記底部と前記第1の棚部の間に位置され、前記底部の前記上方に延びた壁が前記第2の棚部に隣接する、請求項1に記載の容器。
- 前記容器が、第1の端部と、第1の容積と、第2の容積とを有し、前記第1の容積が、前記頂部と前記第1の棚部の間に画成され、前記第1の端部から所定長さ延び、前記第2の容積が、前記底部と前記第2の棚部の間に画成され、前記第1の端部から所定長さ延び、前記第1および第2の容積が等しい、請求項2に記載の容器。
- 前記各棚部に流れ穴が形成され、前記第1の容積が前記第1の棚部の前記流れ穴に連通され、前記第2の容積が前記第2の棚部の前記流れ穴に連通されている、請求項3に記載の容器。
- 前記頂部の前記基部が、前記第1の棚部の前記基部から第1の距離だけ離れた第1の部分を有し、前記頂部の前記基部が、前記第1の棚部の前記基部から第2の距離だけ離れた第2の部分を有し、前記第1の距離が前記第2の距離より大きい、請求項3に記載の容器。
- 前記第2の部分が、前記容器の前記第1の端部から所定長さ延びる、請求項5に記載の容器。
- 前記頂部の前記基部の前記第1および第2の部分が平行に配置されている、請求項5に記載の容器。
- 前記頂部の前記基部が第3の部分を含み、前記第3の部分が、前記頂部の前記基部の前記第1および第2の部分の間に延び、且つこれらを接続する、請求項5に記載の容器。
- 前記第3の部分が、ほぼ平坦であり、前記基部の前記第2の部分によって画成される平面に対し角度を付けて配置され、前記角度が10〜90°の範囲内にある、請求項8に記載の容器。
- 前記角度が10〜30°の範囲内にある、請求項9に記載の容器。
- 前記角度が20°である、請求項9に記載の容器。
- 細胞を培養するための容器であって、
基部を含む底部であって、前記底部の前記基部の境界を少なくとも部分的になす上方に延びた壁を備える底部と、
基部を含む頂部であって、前記頂部の前記基部の境界を少なくとも部分的になす下方に延びた壁を備える頂部と、
当該容器から延びる管状首部であって、開口を画成する管状首部と、
一以上の棚部であって、各棚部が基部と、前記棚部の前記基部の境界を少なくとも部分的になす上方に延びた壁とを備える一以上の棚部と、
を備え、
前記一以上の棚部のうちの第1の棚部の前記上方に延びた壁が、前記頂部の前記下方に延びた壁に隣接し、
前記第1の棚部が前記底部と前記頂部の間に位置され、
前記各棚部が、前記各棚部の前記上方に延びた壁よりも低い高さを有する格納壁であって、前記各棚部の前記基部に形成された流れ穴と連通する開口を画成する格納壁を有し、
前記底部、前記頂部および前記一以上の棚部が、集合して、細胞を培養するための囲まれた容積を画成し、
前記底部、前記頂部および前記一以上の棚部の一部が、当該容器の外面の一部を画成する容器。 - 細胞を培養するための容器であって、
基部を含む底部であって、前記底部の前記基部の境界を少なくとも部分的になす上方に延びた壁を備える底部と、
基部を含む頂部であって、前記頂部の前記基部の境界を少なくとも部分的になす下方に延びた壁を備える頂部と、
当該容器から延びる管状首部であって、開口を画成する管状首部と、
一以上の棚部であって、各棚部が基部と、前記棚部の前記基部の境界を少なくとも部分的になす上方に延びた壁とを備える一以上の棚部と、
を備え、
前記一以上の棚部のうちの第1の棚部の前記上方に延びた壁が、前記頂部の前記下方に延びた壁に隣接し、
前記第1の棚部が前記底部と前記頂部の間に位置され、
前記各棚部の前記基部が少なくとも一つの穴を有し、
当該容器が、離間した第1の端部と第2の端部とを有し、前記管状首部が前記第2の端部から延び、前記頂部の前記基部が、前記第1の棚部の前記基部から第1の距離だけ離れた第1の部分を有し、前記頂部の前記基部が、前記第1の棚部の前記基部から第2の距離だけ離れた第2の部分を有し、前記第1の距離が前記第2の距離より大きく、前記第2の部分が、前記第1の端部から延び、前記第1の部分が、前記第2の部分と前記第2の端部との間に配されている容器。 - 細胞を培養するための容器であって、
基部を含む底部であって、前記底部の前記基部の境界を少なくとも部分的になす上方に延びた壁を備える底部と、

前記一以上の棚部のうちの第1の棚部の前記上方に延びた壁が、前記頂部の前記下方に延びた壁に隣接し、
前記第1の棚部が前記底部と前記頂部の間に位置され、
前記各棚部の前記基部が少なくとも一つの穴を有し、
