Claims (15)

前記電子データ処理部が、医療被検体から抽出された生検標本と前記医療被検体の医用画像とを、前記医療被検体から前記生検標本が抽出されたその位置を表す前記医療被検体の前記医用画像の領域を識別することによって、空間的に位置合わせするステップと、
前記電子データ処理部が、前記医用画像と前記生検標本から生成された情報のグラフィカル表現とを組み合わせて組み合わせられた画像を生成する、組み合わせるステップであり、前記組み合わせられた画像において、前記グラフィカル表現は前記生検標本の前記の空間的な位置合わせに基づいて空間的に描出される、ステップと、
前記組み合わせられた画像を、前記イメージング視覚化ワークステーションの前記グラフィカル表示装置に表示するステップと、
を含む方法を実行するように構成される、イメージング視覚化ワークステーション
を含む装置。 - 前記生検標本は、前記医療被検体の病変から得られ、
前記空間的に位置合わせするステップは、前記生検標本と前記医用画像の中の前記病変の描写とを関連付け、
前記組み合わせられた画像は、前記生検標本から生成された情報の前記グラフィカル表現と前記医用画像の中の前記病変の前記描写とを関連付ける、

各生検標本について、前記病変のサイズ及び形状に基づいて前記領域を定義するステップであり、前記の定義された領域は隣接する領域である、ステップ

前記生検標本に空間的に位置合わせされた前記医用画像の位置における画像特性を識別するステップと、
前記医用画像の前記領域を、前記の識別された画像特性を有する前記医用画像の1又は複数の部分として定義するステップと、
を含む、請求項8に記載の装置。 - 前記生検標本は、前記医療被検体の病変から得られ、前記生検標本から生成される前記情報は、病変組織成長速度を含み、前記組み合わせるステップは、
前記医用画像の中の前記病変の描写と前記病変組織成長速度とに基づいて1又は複数の将来の病変境界を予測するステップと、
前記医用画像の上に重ね合わせられた前記の予測された1又は複数の将来の病変境界を含む前記組み合わせられた画像を生成するステップと、
を含む、請求項1乃至10のうちいずれか1項に記載の装置。 - 前記生検標本は、前記医療被検体の病変から得られ、前記生検標本から生成される前記情報は、病変組織に関する微小血管系情報を含み、前記組み合わせるステップは、
前記医用画像の中の前記病変の描写と病変組織に関する前記微小血管系情報とに基づいて前記病変に対する化学療法到達性の空間的マップを推定するステップと、
前記医用画像の上に重ね合わせられた、前記病変に対する化学療法到達性の前記の推定された空間的マップを含む、前記組み合わせられた画像を生成するステップと、
を含む、請求項1乃至11のうちいずれか1項に記載の装置。 - 前記生検標本は、前記医療被検体の病変から得られ、前記生検標本から生成される前記情報は、小線源療法放射線シードにより放出される放射線に関する病変組織の放射線吸収特性を含み、前記組み合わせるステップは、
前記医用画像の中の前記病変の描写と病変組織の前記放射線吸収特性とに基づいて前記病変に対する小線源療法放射線シードそれぞれの最適な配置を計算するステップと、
前記医用画像の上に重ね合わせられた小線源療法放射線シードの前記最適な配置を含む前記組み合わせられた画像を生成するステップと、
を含む、請求項1乃至12のうちいずれか1項に記載の装置。 - 医療被検体から抽出された生検標本と前記医療被検体の医用画像とを、前記医療被検体から前記生検標本が抽出されたその位置を表す前記医療被検体の前記医用画像の領域を識別することによって、空間的に位置合わせするステップと、
前記医用画像と前記生検標本から生成された情報のグラフィカル表現とを組み合わせて組み合わせられた画像を生成するステップであり、前記組み合わせられた画像において、前記グラフィカル表現は前記生検標本の前記の空間的な位置合わせに基づいて空間的に描出される、ステップと、
前記組み合わせられた画像をグラフィカル表示装置に表示するステップと、
を含む方法。 - (i)医療被検体から抽出された生検標本と前記医療被検体の医用画像とを、前記医療被検体から前記生検標本が抽出されたその位置を表す前記医療被検体の前記医用画像の領域を識別することによって、空間的に位置合わせするステップと、
(ii)前記医用画像と前記生検標本から生成された情報のグラフィカル表現とを組み合わせて組み合わせられた画像を生成するステップであり、前記組み合わせられた画像において、前記グラフィカル表現は前記生検標本の前記の空間的な位置合わせに基づいて空間的に描出される、ステップと、
(iii)前記の組み合わせられた医用画像をグラフィカル表示装置に表示するステップと、
を電子データ処理装置に実行させるためのコンピュータプログラム。
