Description
種々の量の導電性添加物を含む一連のタイヤトレッド化合物を製造し、その表面抵抗率を評価した。高度に分散可能なシリカの強化ネットワークがゴム(PHR)100部に対して47〜70部の範囲で含まれていた。これらの導電性粒子添加物は、本発明の実施例に従って作製されたグラフェンカーボン粒子と、XG Sciences社の市販のグラフェンと、グラファイト、剥離グラファイト、アンチモン−スズ酸化物、ニッケル被覆グラファイト、および、ポリピロール被覆シリカ、を含んでいた。前記グラフェンカーボン粒子は、米国特許出願第13/309,894号に開示の方法によって作製された。表1にリストされている成分を、タイヤトレッド調合技術において周知の装置と技術とを使用して、混合し硬化させた。スチレン−ブタジエンゴムとポリブタジエンゴムを、前記導電性添加物、充填材、処理補助剤、抗酸化剤、そして、第1パスの硬化パッケージの一部と混合し、マスターバッチを形成した。前記成分は、7分間、又は、化合物が160℃に達するまで、混合された。第2のパスにおいて、前記マスターバッチを、ミキサに戻し供給して、更に10分間160℃で処理した。第3の最終混合パスにおいて、残りの硬化剤と促進剤を前記マスターバッチに添加して2.5分間108℃で混合した。

Claims (18)
- ベースゴム組成物と、
折り曲げ状の3D形状と2原子量%以下の酸素含有率とを有する0.1〜20重量%のグラフェンカーボン粒子と、
シリカを含む1〜50重量%の充填材粒子と、を有し、
硬化時に1010Ω/sq未満の表面抵抗率を有する、硬化性のゴム配合物。 - タイヤトレッド配合物を含む、請求項1に記載のゴム配合物。
- 前記グラフェンカーボン粒子は、前記ゴム配合物の10重量%未満を構成する、請求項1に記載のゴム配合物。
- 前記グラフェンカーボン粒子は、前記配合物の5重量%未満を構成する、請求項1に記載のゴム配合物。
- 前記グラフェンカーボン粒子は、少なくとも100マイクロジーメンスのバルク液体導電率を有する、請求項1に記載のゴム配合物。
- 前記グラフェンカーボン粒子は、0.2g/cm3未満のバルク密度を有する、請求項1に記載のゴム配合物。
- 前記グラフェンカーボン粒子は、0.9未満の圧縮密度を有する、請求項1に記載のゴム配合物。
- 前記シリカは、前記ゴム配合物の28〜44重量%を構成する、請求項1に記載のゴム配合物。
- 前記グラフェンカーボン粒子は、前記ゴム配合物の10重量%未満を構成し、前記シリカは、前記配合物の28重量%超を構成する、請求項1に記載のゴム配合物。
- 前記シリカと前記グラフェンカーボン粒子とは、前記ゴム配合物中において、4:1超の重量比で含まれる、請求項1に記載のゴム配合物。
- 前記シリカは沈降シリカを含む、請求項1に記載のゴム配合物。
- 前記ベースゴム組成物は、スチレン−ブタジエンゴム、ブタジエンゴム、および/又は天然ゴムを含む、請求項1に記載のゴム配合物。
- 前記ベースゴム組成物は、プロセスオイル、抗酸化剤、硬化剤、及び金属酸化物から選択される少なくとも1つの添加物を含む、請求項12に記載のゴム配合物。
- 10重量%未満のカーボンブラックを含む、請求項1に記載のゴム配合物。
- カーボンブラックを含まない、請求項1に記載のゴム配合物。
- (a)(i)折り曲げ状の3D形状と2原子量%以下の酸素含有率とを有する0.1〜20重量%のグラフェンカーボン粒子と(ii)シリカを含む1〜50重量%の充填材粒子と(iii)プロセスオイル、抗酸化剤、硬化剤、及び金属酸化物から選択される少なくとも1つの添加物とをベースゴム組成物に混合させる工程、および
(b)この混合物を硬化する工程を有し、
硬化後のゴム組成物は1010Ω/sq未満の表面抵抗率を有する
ゴム組成物の製造方法。 - 前記グラフェンカーボン粒子は、前記硬化後のゴム組成物の10重量%未満を構成し、前記充填材粒子に含まれる前記シリカは、前記硬化後のゴム組成物の28重量%超である、請求項16に記載の方法。
- 前記充填材粒子に含まれる前記シリカと前記グラフェンカーボン粒子とは、前記ゴム組成物中において、4:1超の重量比で含まれる、請求項17に記載の方法。
