Claims (4)
- 燃料タンクと、
燃料タンク内に配置されるリザーブカップと、
リザーブカップ内に設置され、リザーブカップ内の燃料を吸入して燃料タンク外に吐出する燃料ポンプと、
燃料ポンプから吐出される燃料によって駆動され、燃料タンク内の燃料を吸入してリザーブカップ内に吐出するジェットポンプと、
燃料ポンプとジェットポンプを接続し、燃料ポンプから吐出される燃料の一部をジェットポンプに供給する燃料供給通路と、
燃料供給通路に連通しており、燃料ポンプ外の空気を取り込む空気穴が形成されている空気導入通路と、
燃料ポンプ駆動時には空気穴を閉口し、燃料ポンプ停止時には空気穴を開口する開閉機構と、を備え、
開閉機構は、燃料供給通路において燃料ポンプからジェットポンプまでを流れる燃料の通路上であって、燃料供給通路の外部に配置されており、
燃料供給通路と空気導入通路とが接続されており、
燃料供給通路と空気導入通路とが接続される部分では、燃料供給通路が延びる方向と、空気導入通路が延びる方向が互いに交差することを特徴とする燃料供給装置。 - 燃料タンクと、
燃料タンク内に配置されるリザーブカップと、
リザーブカップ内に設置され、リザーブカップ内の燃料を吸入して燃料タンク外に吐出する燃料ポンプと、
燃料ポンプから吐出される燃料によって駆動され、燃料タンク内の燃料を吸入してリザーブカップ内に吐出するジェットポンプと、
燃料ポンプとジェットポンプを接続し、燃料ポンプから吐出される燃料の一部をジェットポンプに供給する燃料供給通路と、
燃料供給通路に連通しており、燃料ポンプ外の空気を取り込む空気穴が形成されている空気導入通路と、
燃料ポンプ駆動時には空気穴を閉口し、燃料ポンプ停止時には空気穴を開口する開閉機構と、を備え、
開閉機構は、燃料供給通路において燃料ポンプからジェットポンプまでを流れる燃料の通路上に配置されており、
燃料供給通路は、第1燃料供給通路と、第1燃料供給通路と分岐し、第1燃料供給通路と平行に延びる第2燃料供給通路とを有しており、
空気導入通路は、第1燃料供給通路と第2燃料供給通路の一方に接続していることを特徴とする燃料供給装置。 - 燃料供給通路と空気導入通路とは、燃料ポンプの駆動開始時に必要とされる燃料がリザーブカップ内に貯留されているときの燃料の液面の高さよりも上方の位置で連通していることを特徴とする、請求項1又は2に記載の燃料供給装置。
- 開閉機構は弁体及び弁座を備えており、燃料ポンプ駆動時の燃料の流体力により弁体が弁座に密着して空気穴を閉口することを特徴とする、請求項1〜3のいずれか一項に記載の燃料供給装置。
