Description
1)白色帯電粒子を含む、赤色、緑色、青色及び黒色の単色電気泳動分散液をそれぞれ製造するステップ、
2)得られた前記各単色電気泳動分散液をそれぞれ単色マイクロカプセル表示粒子に封入するステップであって、例えば、複合凝集法またはインサイチュ(in situ)重合法によって前記封入を実現することができるステップ、
3)粘着剤と前記各単色マイクロカプセル表示粒子とをそれぞれ混合させ、それぞれ各単色マイクロカプセル電気泳動表示フィルム材を製造するステップ、
4)粘着剤を用いてそれぞれ異なる前記単色マイクロカプセル電気泳動表示フィルム材を、色の順に順次積層して粘着させることで、複数のフィルム層ユニットが積層したものを得るステップ。
1)ポリスチレンに覆われた二酸化チタン微小球の製造
1)ポリビニルアルコールで表面修飾された二酸化チタン微小球の製造
1)ステアリン酸によって表面修飾された二酸化チタン微小球の製造
2 白色帯電粒子
3 赤色マイクロカプセル表示粒子
4 緑色マイクロカプセル表示粒子
5 黒色マイクロカプセル表示粒子
6 粘着剤
M 単色マイクロカプセル電気泳動表示フィルム材の横方向の大きさ
N 単色マイクロカプセル電気泳動表示フィルム材の縦方向フィルム層ユニット数
MとNはいずれも1より大きい整数である。
Claims (12)
- 異なる単色マイクロカプセルフィルム材をそれぞれ製造し、
粘着剤により前記各単色マイクロカプセルフィルム材を順次積層して粘着させ、前記各単色マイクロカプセルフィルム材を含む、積層した複数のフィルム層ユニットを形成し、積層した複数の前記フィルム層ユニットを、表面と垂直な縦方向上において裁断し、カラーマイクロカプセル電気泳動表示フィルム材を得ることを特徴とする、カラーマイクロカプセル電気泳動表示フィルム材の製造方法。 - 1)白色帯電粒子を含むカラーの単色電気泳動分散液をそれぞれ製造するステップ、
2)得られた前記各単色電気泳動分散液をそれぞれ単色マイクロカプセル表示粒子に封入するステップ、
3)第2の粘着剤と前記各単色マイクロカプセル表示粒子とをそれぞれ混合させ、それぞれ各単色マイクロカプセル電気泳動表示フィルム材を製造するステップ、
4)粘着剤を用いてそれぞれ異なる前記単色マイクロカプセル電気泳動表示フィルム材を、色の順に順次積層して粘着させることで、複数のフィルム層ユニットが積層したものを得るステップを含むことを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の方法。 - 前記第2の粘着剤が、水溶性アルキド樹脂、水溶性エポキシエステル樹脂、及びアクリル酸アルキルエステル共重合分散乳液中から選ばれる一種であることを特徴とする、請求項2に記載の方法。
- 前記粘着剤が、アクリル樹脂系、水性ポリウレタン系、酢酸ビニル樹脂系またはエポキシエステル樹脂系粘着剤であることを特徴とする、請求項1または2に記載の方法。
- 前記縦方向裁断の大きさが、1〜10個のマイクロカプセルの粒径であることを特徴とする、請求項1〜4のいずれかに記載の方法。
- 前記縦方向裁断の大きさが、1〜5個のマイクロカプセルの粒径であることを特徴とする、請求項1〜5のいずれかに記載の方法。
- 前記縦方向裁断の大きさが、1〜3個のマイクロカプセルの粒径であることを特徴とする、請求項1〜6のいずれかに記載の方法。
- 前記マイクロカプセルの粒径が、10〜100μmであることを特徴とする、請求項1〜7のいずれかに記載の方法。
- 前記マイクロカプセルの粒径が、20〜50μmであることを特徴とする、請求項1〜8のいずれかに記載の方法。
- 前記マイクロカプセルの粒径が、20〜30μmであることを特徴とする、請求項9に記載の方法。
- 前記カラーが、赤色、緑色、青色及び黒色を含むことを特徴とする、請求項1〜10のいずれかに記載の方法。
- 必要なサイズ規格に従って、請求項1〜10のいずれかに記載の方法によって得られたカラーマイクロカプセル電気泳動表示フィルム材を幅面切断するステップ、
切断した後の前記カラーマイクロカプセル電気泳動表示フィルム材を、駆動用背面パネル上に貼り合わせて、カラーマイクロカプセル電気泳動表示装置を製造するステップを含むことを特徴とする、カラーマイクロカプセル電気泳動表示装置の製造方法。
