Claims (4)
- 長手軸に沿って延設された可撓性を有する可撓管と、
前記可撓管の基端側に配設されており、軸周りに回動する出力軸を有する電動駆動源と、
前記可撓管の先端側に配設されており、前記電動駆動源の回転駆動力によって動作される被駆動部と、
前記可撓管内に長手軸に沿って挿通されると共に、該挿通方向に沿った軸周りにコイル状に巻回して形成され、前記電動駆動源の回転駆動力により長手軸周りに回転されることで該電動駆動源の回転駆動力を前記被駆動部に伝達する、単一の駆動力伝達部材と、
を具備しており、前記駆動力伝達部材は、コイル状に巻回された方向に回転される第1回転状態における第1の捻り剛性が、前記コイル状に巻回された方向と逆方向に回転される第2回転状態における第2の捻り剛性よりも高く設定され、前記被駆動部は、前記駆動力伝達部材が第1回転状態にされることで伝達される回転駆動力によって第1の動作を行ない、前記駆動力伝達部材が第2回転状態にされることで伝達される回転駆動力によって前記第1の動作より力量を要する第2の動作を行うことを特徴とする挿入装置。 - 前記被駆動部は、チューブ本体と、該チューブ本体の外周面から突出する凸部を基端側から先端側に向けて予め定めた方向に巻回して螺旋状に形作られた螺旋形状部と、を有する挿入補助具であって、
前記挿入補助具は、前記駆動力伝達部材が第2回転状態にされることで伝達される回転駆動力によって、挿入部を消化器消化管の深部に向けて前進させる第2の推進力を発生する前記第2の動作を行うことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の挿入装置。 - 前記被駆動部は、挿入部先端に設けられた湾曲部を湾曲させるために設けられた、湾曲ワイヤの牽引動作を行う湾曲機構部であって、
前記湾曲機構部は、前記駆動力伝達部材が第2回転状態にされることで伝達される回転駆動力によって、前記湾曲部を湾曲動作が頻繁に行われる方向もしくは湾曲動作における負荷が最大となる方向に湾曲させることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の挿入装置。 - 前記駆動力伝達部材は、前記可撓管よりも高い可撓性を有し、
前記駆動力伝達部材が第1回転状態にされることで前記挿入補助具に伝達される回転駆動力は、前記駆動力伝達部材が第2回転状態にされることで前記挿入補助具に伝達される回転駆動力よりも予め小さく設定されていることを特徴とする請求項2に記載の挿入装置。
