Description
上記撚り係数Kが800未満では、ポリエステルコードの耐疲労性が低下するため、タイヤの耐久性が低下する。撚り係数Kが1200を超えると、ポリエステルコードの強度が小さくなりすぎるため、カーカス層等のタイヤ用繊維補強層として必要な強度にするために要するコード打ち込み本数が多くなり、その結果、セパレーションが起こりやすくなってタイヤの耐久性が低下する。なお、上撚りと下撚りの撚り数は、特に限定されないが、20〜50回/10cmであることが好ましく、また、上撚り数と下撚り数は同じ値に設定されることが好ましい。
Claims (2)
- 繊維補強層を備えた空気入りタイヤであって、
前記繊維補強層は、繊度が500〜900dtexのポリエステルフィラメント束に下撚りをかけ、これを2本上撚りしてなる双撚り構造のコードであって、上撚りと下撚りの平均の撚り数をT(回/10cm)及び総表示繊度をD(dtex)としてT×(D/1.39)1/2で定義される撚り係数Kが800〜1200であるポリエステルコードを用い、該ポリエステルコードからなる繊維材に、温度100℃かつせん断速度1000(1/秒)の条件で測定した粘度が4500〜6500Pa・sであるゴム組成物を被覆してなるものである
ことを特徴とする空気入りタイヤ。 - 前記繊維補強層がカーカス層である
ことを特徴とする請求項1記載の空気入りタイヤ。
