Description
すなわち、本発明にかかる空気調和機は、冷媒回路を有する室外機と、該室外機に液冷媒配管およびガス冷媒配管を介して接続される少なくとも1台の室内機とから構成され、前記液冷媒配管および前記ガス冷媒配管に既設の渡り配管が流用可能とされた空気調和機であって、前記冷媒回路上には、暖房時に開度制御される暖房用電子膨張弁と、冷房時に開度制御される冷房用電子膨張弁と、前記暖房用電子膨張弁に対して並列に接続されて前記渡り配管内に残留していた異物を回収する異物回収部と、が設けられ、前記室外機および前記室内機を接続後の配管洗浄運転時、冷房サイクルにて前記暖房用電子膨張弁を全閉にするとともに、前記冷房用電子膨張弁の開度を過熱度制御時の開度Aと全開または全開近傍の開度Bとの間で周期的に複数回開閉し、間欠的に液バックさせて既設の前記渡り配管を洗浄する配管洗浄制御部を備え、前記異物回収部は、前記配管洗浄運転時のみ冷媒が流通可能となることを特徴とする。
[第1実施形態]
以下、本発明の第1実施形態について、図1ないし図3を用いて説明する。
図1には、本発明の第1実施形態に係る空気調和機の概略構成図が示されている。
空気調和機1は、室外機2と、少なくとも1台の室内機3とが渡り配管であるガス冷媒配管4および液冷媒配管5を介して接続されることによって構成されている。
既設の渡り配管であったガス冷媒配管4および液冷媒配管5を流用して空気調和機1を設置した場合、配管接続後の配管洗浄運転によって、ガス冷媒配管4および液冷媒配管5内に残留していた油分や塩素分等の異物を洗い流し、回収・除去する必要がある。本実施形態では、配管洗浄運転時、四方切換弁7を冷房サイクル側に切換えて圧縮機6を運転するとともに、暖房用電子膨張弁(EEVH)9を全閉、電磁弁22を開、冷房用電子膨張弁(EEVC)11を通常の過熱度制御時の開度Aと全開または全開近傍の開度Bとの間で周期的に複数回開閉制御するようにしている。
次に、本発明の第2実施形態について、図1を用いて説明する。
本実施形態は、上記した第1実施形態に対して、異物回収部20を異物回収部30に代替している点が異なっている。その他の点については、第1実施形態と同様であるので説明は省略する。
本実施形態では、図1に示されるように、室外側冷媒回路14中において、ガス側操作弁15の外方側に、所要の容積を有する補助アキュームレータ31を着脱可能に接続することによって、異物回収部30を構成している。

Claims (4)
- 冷媒回路を有する室外機と、該室外機に液冷媒配管およびガス冷媒配管を介して接続される少なくとも1台の室内機とから構成され、前記液冷媒配管および前記ガス冷媒配管に既設の渡り配管が流用可能とされた空気調和機であって、
前記冷媒回路上には、暖房時に開度制御される暖房用電子膨張弁と、冷房時に開度制御される冷房用電子膨張弁と、前記暖房用電子膨張弁に対して並列に接続されて前記渡り配管内に残留していた異物を回収する異物回収部と、が設けられ、
前記室外機および前記室内機を接続後の配管洗浄運転時、冷房サイクルにて前記暖房用電子膨張弁を全閉にするとともに、前記冷房用電子膨張弁の開度を過熱度制御時の開度Aと全開または全開近傍の開度Bとの間で周期的に複数回開閉し、間欠的に液バックさせて既設の前記渡り配管を洗浄する配管洗浄制御部を備え、
前記異物回収部は、前記配管洗浄運転時のみ冷媒が流通可能となることを特徴とする空気調和機。 - 前記冷房用電子膨張弁を周期的に開閉する際において、過熱度制御時の開度Aとする時間と全開または全開近傍の開度Bとする時間との比が概ね2〜4:1とされていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の空気調和機。
- 前記異物回収部には、ドライヤが設けられていることを特徴とする請求項1または2に記載の空気調和機。
- 前記異物回収部には、前記ドライヤの入口側に電磁弁、出口側に逆止弁が設けられていることを特徴とする請求項3に記載の空気調和機。
