Description
また、本発明の他態様として、前記電極体は、第一端部に設けられる正極リード部と、前記第一端部と反対側の第二端部に設けられる負極リードとを備え、前記凸部は、前記平坦部における前記正極リードと前記負極リードとの間に直接的又は間接的に接触する、ようにし得る。
本発明の他態様として、前記ケースは、他方の境界領域の前記他方の折り返し部の端部又は前記平坦部の端部に外方から直接的又は間接的に接触する別の凸部を内面に有する、ようにし得る。このようにすれば、一対の折り返し部の何れか一方側から他方側に向けての電極体の移動が抑制される。すなわち、電極体全体が一対の折り返し部の並ぶ方向に移動することが十分に抑制される。
また、本発明の蓄電素子の製造方法の一態様として、前記凸部形成工程は、前記電極体収容工程の後に行われる、ようにし得る。
Claims (12)
- 正極板と負極板とが互いに絶縁された状態で巻回された扁平状の電極体であって、中心線を挟んで対向する一対の折り返し部と、該一対の折り返し部間に位置する平坦部とを有する電極体と、
該電極体を収容するケースと、
前記電極体を支持する集電体であって、前記中心線の延びる方向における前記電極体の平坦部の端部に沿って該端部に接続される第一接続部、及び前記第一接続部に接続され、且つ前記ケースの内面に固定される第二接続部を含む集電体とを備え、
前記ケースは、前記電極体における前記一対の折り返し部のうちの前記集電体の第二接続部が固定されている側にある一方の折り返し部と前記平坦部との境界を跨いで該境界に沿った前記一方の折り返し部の端部及び前記平坦部の端部を含む一方の境界領域であって、前記一対の折り返し部のうちの他方の折り返し部と前記平坦部との境界を跨いで該境界に沿った前記他方の折り返し部の端部及び前記平坦部の端部を含む他方の境界領域に対し、前記一対の折り返し部の並ぶ方向で間隔をあけた一方の境界領域の前記一方の折り返し部の端部又は前記平坦部の端部に外方から直接的又は間接的に接触する凸部を内面に有し、
前記平坦部と直交する方向における前記一方の折り返し部の最大外寸が、前記凸部の接触する位置における前記平坦部と直交する方向の前記一方の境界領域の外寸よりも大きい
蓄電素子。 - 前記ケースは、凹部を外面に有し、前記凸部は、該凹部の形成に伴って形成される
請求項1に記載の蓄電素子。 - 前記凸部は、前記電極体の前記中心線と同方向に延びて形成されている
請求項1又は請求項2に記載の蓄電素子。 - 前記一方の折り返し部の頂部は、前記ケースの内面に直接的又は間接的に接触している
請求項1乃至請求項3の何れか1項に記載の蓄電素子。 - 前記凸部は、前記一方の境界領域における前記平坦部に外方から直接的又は間接的に接触する
請求項1乃至請求項4の何れか1項に記載の蓄電素子。 - 前記凸部は、該凸部と前記一方の折り返し部の曲率中心との前記平坦部に沿った方向における距離が前記一方の折り返し部の内側最内周の曲率半径以上となる位置に形成されている
請求項5に記載の蓄電素子。 - 前記凸部は、前記一方の折り返し部の一端部と前記平坦部との境界を跨ぐ前記一方の境界領域に対応して形成された第一凸部と、前記一方の折り返し部の他端部と前記平坦部との境界を跨ぐ前記一方の境界領域に対応して形成された第二凸部とを含む
請求項1乃至請求項6の何れか1項に記載の蓄電素子。 - 前記正極板及び前記負極板は、少なくとも前記一方の境界領域における前記凸部と対応する位置で該位置の周辺よりも密に積層されている
請求項1乃至請求項7の何れか1項に記載の蓄電素子。 - 前記電極体は、第一端部に設けられる正極リード部と、前記第一端部と反対側の第二端部に設けられる負極リード部とを備え、
前記凸部は、前記平坦部における前記正極リード部と前記負極リード部との間に直接的又は間接的に接触する
請求項1乃至請求項8の何れか1項に記載の蓄電素子。 - 前記ケースは、他方の境界領域の前記他方の折り返し部の端部又は前記平坦部の端部に外方から直接的又は間接的に接触する別の凸部を内面に有する
請求項1乃至請求項9の何れか1項に記載の蓄電素子。 - 正極板と負極板とが互いに絶縁された状態で巻回された扁平状の電極体であって、中心線を挟んで対向する一対の折り返し部と、該一対の折り返し部間に位置する平坦部とを有する電極体をケースに収容する電極体収容工程と、
集電体の第一接続部を前記中心線の延びる方向における前記電極体の平坦部の端部に沿って該端部に接続し、集電体の第二接続部を前記ケースの内面に固定し、電極体を集電体に支持させる工程と、
前記電極体における前記一対の折り返し部のうちの前記集電体の第二接続部が固定されている側にある一方の折り返し部と前記平坦部との境界を跨いで該境界に沿った前記一方の折り返し部の端部及び前記平坦部の端部を含む一方の境界領域であって、前記一対の折り返し部のうちの他方の折り返し部と前記平坦部との境界を跨いで該境界に沿った前記他方の折り返し部の端部及び前記平坦部の端部を含む他方の境界領域に対し、前記一対の折り返し部の並ぶ方向で間隔をあけた一方の境界領域の前記一方の折り返し部の端部又は前記平坦部の端部に外方から直接的又は間接的に接触する凸部を前記ケースの内面に形成する凸部形成工程とを備える
