- カラーフィルタ及びブラックマトリクスが形成されたCF基板と、複数の透明電極コモン配線及びそれに接続された複数のメタルコモン配線が形成されたTFT基板と、前記CF基板と前記TFT基板との間に封止された液晶とを有する液晶表示装置において、
前記CF基板は、第1の方向に延びる帯状の透明配線を複数有し、
前記TFT基板に設けられた前記透明電極コモン配線のそれぞれは、前記第1の方向と直交する第2の方向に延びる帯状の複数の第1の透明電極コモン配線と、前記第1の透明電極コモン配線よりも幅の狭い帯状であり、前記第1の透明電極コモン配線と隣接した位置に間隙を持って配置される第2の透明電極コモン配線を有し、
鉛直上方から見て、前記CF基板の前記透明配線と前記TFT基板の第1及び第2の透明電極コモン配線とが重複する部分が、それぞれ静電容量方式のタッチセンサの上部電極と下部電極とを構成しており、
前記複数のメタルコモン配線のそれぞれは、前記第1の透明電極コモン配線と前記第2の透明電極コモン配線に接続されており、
前記メタルコモン配線は、前記第1及び第2の透明電極コモン配線との接続領域で、前記第1及び第2の透明電極コモン配線の間隙から延在する位置にスリット部を有することを特徴とする液晶表示装置。 - 請求項1記載の液晶表示装置において、

前記第2の透明電極コモン配線は、20〜200μmの幅を有することを特徴とする液晶表示装置。 - 請求項1記載の液晶表示装置において、
前記メタルコモン配線と、前記第1及び第2の透明電極コモン配線は、前記メタルコモン配線と前記第1の透明電極コモン配線の接続と、前記メタルコモン配線と前記第2の透明電極コモン配線の接続を切り替え可能なスイッチを介して接続されていることを特徴とする液晶表示装置。 - 請求項9記載の液晶表示装置において、
前記スイッチは、TFTであることを特徴とする液晶表示装置。
