Description
Claims (2)
- ゴルフクラブヘッド用合金を用いたゴルフクラブヘッドのフェース板の板材を製造する方法であって、上記方法は、
上記ゴルフクラブヘッド用合金をチタンの合金棒に熔融し、さらに上記チタン合金の棒が扁平状の板状ブランク材となるまで2回から4回繰り返し上記板状ブランク材を1150℃で加熱して鍛打する段階と、
上記板状ブランク材を熱間圧延し、上記板状ブランク材を850℃以上で薄化になるまで圧縮させ、二回の熱間圧延を経て、上記板状ブランク材の圧縮量を70%から75%に形成させ、薄板のブランク材を成形させる段階と、
上記薄板のブランク材を肉厚が1mmから5mmの合金板材になるまで冷間圧延し、焼き戻して修整研磨を経てゴルフクラブヘッドのフェース板の板材を製造する段階と
を含み、
上記ゴルフクラブヘッド用合金は、質量百分率で、7%から9.5%のアルミニウム、0.5%から2%のバナジウム、0.05%から0.4%のシリコン、0.4%以下の鉄、0.15%以下の酸素、0.1%以下の炭素、0.05%以下の窒素、残部のチタンからなり、上記ゴルフクラブヘッド用合金の密度は4.32g/cm3から4.35g/cm3である
ことを特徴とする方法。 - 上記板状ブランク材を熱間圧延する過程においては、1020℃で一回目の熱間圧延を行ない、上記板状ブランク材が熱間圧延の作用を経た後、上記板状ブランク材の肉厚の圧縮量は73%になり、再び1020℃で二回目の熱間圧延を行ない、上記板状ブランク材の肉厚の圧縮量は75%になることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のゴルフクラブヘッドのフェース板の板材の製造方法。
