Description
本実施形態に係る画像形成装置10は、フルカラー画像又は白黒画像を形成するものであり、図1に示されるように、水平方向一側(図1における左側)部分を構成する第1処理部が収容された第1筐体10Aと、第1筐体10Aと分割可能に接続され、水平方向+側(図1における右側)部分を構成する第2処理部が収容された第2筐体10Bとを備えている。
次に、転写装置32の一次転写部33について説明する。
図9は、第2の変形例としての一次転写部73の構成を示している。以下、一次転写部33及び変形例としての一次転写部43に対して、異なる部分を中心に説明する。
図10は、第3の変形例としての一次転写部83の構成を示している。以下、一次転写部33及び変形例としての一次転写部43に対して、異なる部分を中心に説明する。

Claims (6)
- 回転速度に応じて電気抵抗が変化する特性を有し、トナー像を保持する像保持体の移動に同期して移動する被転写体に転写電圧を印加することで前記像保持体に保持されるトナー像を前記被転写体に転写させる転写ロールと、
前記像保持体及び前記被転写体の移動とは独立して前記転写ロールの回転速度を調整する調整手段と、
前記転写ロールの外側に設けられ、前記転写ロールと同じ回転軸を中心に前記転写ロールとは独立して回転可能とされ、前記被転写体の移動に伴い前記被転写体に従動回転し、前記転写ロールに対して滑り、前記トナー像が前記被転写体に転写される際に電流を流すことが可能な電気抵抗を有する回転体と、
を備える転写装置。 - 前記調整手段は、前記転写ロールの電気抵抗が予め定められた値になるように前記転写ロールの回転速度を調整する請求項1に記載の転写装置。
- さらに、前記転写ロールの電気抵抗を検出する電気抵抗検出手段を備え、
前記調整手段は、前記電気抵抗検出手段によって検出された電気抵抗に応じて前記転写ロールの回転速度を調整する請求項1または請求項2に記載の転写装置。 - さらに、前記転写ロールが晒される環境を検出する環境検出手段を備え、
前記調整手段は、前記環境検出手段によって検出された環境に応じて前記転写ロールの回転速度を調整する請求項1または請求項2に記載の転写装置。 - さらに、前記被転写体における前記転写ロールが接触する側又は前記転写ロールには、潤滑剤を付与する付与手段を備える請求項1〜4のいずれか1項に記載の転写装置。
- 静電潜像が形成される像保持体と、
前記像保持体に形成された静電潜像をトナーで現像する現像装置と、
前記現像装置によって現像されたトナー像を被転写体に転写する請求項1〜5のいずれか1項に記載の転写装置と、
を備える画像形成装置。
