Claims (11)
- 酸性海水の処理方法において、
ア、酸性海水とアルカリ性海水を混合してpHが5.5〜6の中和海水を取得するステップと、
イ、前記中和海水を曝気容器において連続的に流動させ、空気を連続的に吹入するステップと、を含み、
前記曝気容器の容積Rと、処理必要な前記中和海水の容積Lと、吹入される空気量Qとが下記式(1)及び(2)の条件を満たす、ことを特徴とする酸性海水の処理方法であって、前記酸性海水はディーゼルエンジンの排ガスを洗浄した海水である酸性海水の処理方法。

Q=(25〜85)L/R...(2)
式中、Rは前記曝気容器の容積(m3)であり、Lは時間毎で処理される前記中和海水の容積(m3)であり、Qは時間毎で吹入される空気量(Nm3)である(標準状態、即ち0℃、1気圧で換算する)。 - R=(0.05〜0.2)L
である、ことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の酸性海水の処理方法。 - 前記酸性海水はSO2を吸収した海水である、ことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の酸性海水の処理方法。
- 前記ディーゼルエンジンは船舶のディーゼルエンジンである、ことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の酸性海水の処理方法。
- 前記アルカリ性海水のpHは7以上である、ことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の酸性海水の処理方法。
- 前記アルカリ性海水は海洋から取った新鮮な天然海水である、ことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の酸性海水の処理方法。
- 前記酸性海水とアルカリ海水は、前記曝気容器に流入する前および/または後で混合される、ことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の酸性海水の処理方法。
- 前記曝気容器は前記酸性海水を搬送するための第1管路と連通し、前記アルカリ性海水は第2管路を介して前記第1管路に搬送され、且つ前記第1管路において前記酸性海水と混合される、ことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の酸性海水の処理方法。
- 前記曝気容器はそれぞれ前記酸性海水を搬送する第1管路と前記アルカリ性海水を搬送する第2管路と連通し、前記酸性海水と前記アルカリ性海水は前記曝気容器において混合される、ことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の酸性海水の処理方法。
- 前記中和海水が前記曝気容器から排出された後のpHは6.5以上7以下である、ことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の酸性海水の処理方法。
- 酸性海水の処理方法が、前記船舶において行われる請求項4に記載の酸性海水の処理方法。
