Description
以下の工程:
a)プラスチック材料の少なくとも一部分を前処理する工程、
b)この前処理された表面上にポリビニルアルコールのコーティング層少なくとも1つを設ける工程、及び
c)このポリビニルアルコール層上にポリビニルアセタールのトップコーティング層少なくとも1つを設ける工程
を含む、プラスチック材料上にバリアーコーティングを設けることによりこのプラスチック材料のガス透過性を減少させる方法に関する。
加圧された処理ガスの器をまず、清浄な、乾燥した、鋼の圧力シリンダー(これはフッ素供給(fluorine service)についてパッシベーションされている)に対して強力な真空(<1torr)を引っ張ることによって調整した。これに、1061kPa(154psi)のゲージ圧が達成されるまで、窒素中20%(体積で)のF2を添加した。次いで、乾燥した、油不含の圧縮空気を、ゲージ圧3.4MPa(500psi)をこの器が達成するまで添加した。このシリンダーを、ローラー装置上に水平に配置し、48時間にわたりこのガスを均質に混合するためにローリングさせた。

PP及びPETからの500mlボトルのためのプレフォームを説明したとおりに前処理した。
Claims (12)
- 以下の工程:
a)プラスチック材料の少なくとも一部分をオキシフッ素化によって前処理する工程、
b)この前処理された表面上にポリビニルアルコールのコーティング層少なくとも1つを設ける工程、及び
c)このポリビニルアルコール層上にポリビニルアセタールのトップコーティング層少なくとも1つを設ける工程
を含む、プラスチック材料上にバリアーコーティングを設けることによりこのプラスチック材料のガス透過性を減少させる方法であって、工程a)、b)及びc)に引き続き、このコーティングされたプラスチック材料をブロー成形プロセスにおいて成形する、前記方法。 - プラスチック材料の表面エネルギーが、前処理後に少なくとも10%増加することを特徴とする請求項1記載の方法。
- ポリビニルアルコールを水溶液として設けることを特徴とする請求項1又は2記載の方法。
- ポリビニルアルコールのコーティング層を水溶液として設け、かつ、10〜90℃で乾燥させることを特徴とする請求項1から3のいずれか1項記載の方法。
- ポリビニルアルコールが、少なくとも90%の鹸化度を有することを特徴とする請求項1から4のいずれか1項記載の方法。
- ポリビニルアセタールが、ポリビニルブチラール、ポリビニルアセチル−コ−ブチラール及び架橋したポリビニルブチラールからなる群から選択されることを特徴とする請求項1から5のいずれか1項記載の方法。
- ポリビニルアセタールを、有機溶媒中の溶液としてポリビニルアルコール層上に設けることを特徴とする請求項1から6のいずれか1項記載の方法。
- プラスチック材料が、PET、PP、PE又はCOCを含むことを特徴とする請求項1から7のいずれか1項記載の方法。
- 容器のプレフォームを請求項1から8のいずれか1項記載の方法に供し、引き続き、このプレフォームを容器の最終形状へと成形することによって、容器又はその部分を製造する方法。
- プレフォームの成形を、延伸ブロー成形又は射出延伸ブロー成形によって実施することを特徴とする請求項9記載の方法。
- 容器の外側にコーティングを設けることを特徴とする請求項9又は10記載の方法。
- 容器の内側にコーティングを設けることを特徴とする請求項9又は10記載の方法。
