Claims (3)
- 排気ガスを利用して給気を行う第1過給機と、
前記第1過給機を通過した気体が流入し、当該第1過給機によって高温となった気体を冷却する第1インタークーラと、
前記第1インタークーラを通過した気体が流入し、排気ガスを利用して給気を行う第2過給機と、
前記第2過給機を通過した気体が流入し、当該第2過給機によって高温となった気体を冷却する第2インタークーラと、
エンジンオイルを濾過するオイルフィルタと、
シリンダヘッドの上部に位置するバルブカバーを覆う板状カバーと、
を備え、
前記板状カバーの厚み方向で見たときに、前記第1過給機、前記第1インタークーラ、前記第2過給機、前記第2インタークーラ、及び前記オイルフィルタが互いに重ならないように配置され、
前記第1過給機は、エンジンのクランク軸方向の端部のうちフライホイールが設けられる側の端部に配置され、
前記第1インタークーラ、前記第2過給機、及び前記第2インタークーラは、クランク軸方向に並べて配置されることを特徴とするエンジン。 - 請求項1に記載のエンジンであって、
前記オイルフィルタは、エンジンのクランク軸方向の端部のうちフライホイールが設けられる側の端部の反対側の端部に配置されることを特徴とするエンジン。 - 請求項1又は2に記載のエンジンであって、
上面と、前記板状カバーの表面と、が少なくとも一部一致し、
前記上面とその反対側の面である底面とを2等分する高さを基準高さとしたときに、前記第1過給機、前記第1インタークーラ、前記第2過給機、前記第2インタークーラ、及び前記オイルフィルタは、全て、前記基準高さよりも上側に配置されることを特徴とするエンジン。
