Description
本発明に係るハイブリッドシステムの実施例を図1から図10に基づいて説明する。
EV走行モードは、第2回転機MG2のみを動力源とする単独モータEVモードと、第1及び第2の回転機MG1,MG2の双方を動力源とする両モータEVモードと、に分けられる。単独モータEVモードは、低負荷運転時に選択され、両モータEVモードは、それよりも高負荷運転時に選択される。
二次電池が充電可能な場合には、必ずしもエンジンブレーキによる電力消費を必要としない。このため、この場合の単独モータEVモードでは、クラッチCL1とブレーキBK1を共に解放させ、変速装置20をニュートラル状態にする。前進させる場合、HVECU100は、第2回転機MG2に正回転で要求車両駆動力に応じた正のMG2トルクを出力させる。正回転とは、前進時におけるMG2回転軸13や差動装置30のリングギヤR2の回転方向のことである。図5には、この前進時の共線図を示している。一方、後進させる場合には、第2回転機MG2に負回転で要求車両駆動力に応じた負のMG2トルクを出力させる。
両モータEVモードにおいて、HVECU100は、クラッチCL1とブレーキBK1を共に完全係合させ、変速装置20の全ての変速回転要素を停止させる。これにより、ハイブリッドシステム1−1においては、エンジンENGの回転数が0になり、また、差動装置30のキャリアC2が0回転にロックされる。図6には、このときの共線図を示している。
HV走行モードにおいては、第1回転機MG1で反力を取りながらエンジントルクのみ又はエンジントルクとMG2トルクとで走行する。その際に駆動軸51に伝達されるエンジントルクは、いわゆるエンジン直達トルクといわれるものであり、電気パスを介することなくエンジンENGから機械的に伝達される。このHV走行モードは、変速装置20が高速段のときの走行モード(以下、「HVハイモード」という。)と、変速装置20が低速段のときの走行モード(以下、「HVローモード」という。)と、に分けられる。図7には、HVハイモードにおける共線図を例示している。また、図8には、HVローモードにおける共線図を示している。このHV走行モードでは、基本的に差動装置30が差動回転を行える状態にあり、クラッチCL1とブレーキBK1の状態(係合状態又は解放状態)を制御することで変速装置20の変速段の切り替えが行われる。
図11の符号1−2は、本変形例のハイブリッドシステムを示す。このハイブリッドシステム1−2は、実施例のハイブリッドシステム1−1において、変速装置20を変速装置120に置き換えたものである。よって、このハイブリッドシステム1−2においても、クラッチCL1とブレーキBK1の作動油の油路は、実施例のハイブリッドシステム1−1と同じようにして構成及び配置が為される。このため、本変形例のハイブリッドシステム1−2は、実施例と同じように、車両への搭載性を向上させることができる。
図12及び図13の符号1−3は、本変形例のハイブリッドシステムを示す。このハイブリッドシステム1−3は、実施例のハイブリッドシステム1−1において、ブレーキBK1を第1回転機MG1よりも車両前側に移動させたものである。つまり、このハイブリッドシステム1−3においては、車両前側から、エンジンENG、ブレーキBK1、第1回転機MG1、クラッチCL1、変速装置20、差動装置30、第2回転機MG2の順に、これらが同心で配置されている。
図16の符号1−4は、本変形例のハイブリッドシステムを示す。このハイブリッドシステム1−4は、変形例2のハイブリッドシステム1−3において、変速装置20を変形例1の変速装置120(ダブルピニオン型の遊星歯車機構)に置き換えたものである。その変速装置120においては、サンギヤS1とリングギヤR1とキャリアC1の内の何れか1つがエンジンENGに接続され、その残りの内の1つが差動装置30に接続される。この例示では、エンジン回転軸11とリングギヤR1とを回転軸22を介して一体回転し得るよう連結させる。また、この例示では、キャリアC1に回転軸21,31を介して差動装置30のキャリアC2を連結する。尚、クラッチCL1とブレーキBK1の連結対象は、変形例2と同じである。
図17の符号1−5は、本変形例のハイブリッドシステムを示す。このハイブリッドシステム1−5は、変形例2のハイブリッドシステム1−3において、変速装置20と差動装置30の配置を入れ替えたものに相当する。このハイブリッドシステム1−5では、車両前側から、エンジンENG、ブレーキBK1、第1回転機MG1、差動装置30、クラッチCL1、変速装置20、第2回転機MG2の順に、これらを同心で配置する。
図18の符号1−6は、本変形例のハイブリッドシステムを示す。このハイブリッドシステム1−6は、変形例4のハイブリッドシステム1−5において、変速装置20を変形例1の変速装置120(ダブルピニオン型の遊星歯車機構)に置き換えたものである。その変速装置120においては、サンギヤS1とリングギヤR1とキャリアC1の内の何れか1つがエンジンENGに接続され、その残りの内の1つが差動装置30に接続される。この例示では、エンジン回転軸11とリングギヤR1とを回転軸22を介して一体回転し得るよう連結させる。また、この例示では、キャリアC1に回転軸21,31を介して差動装置30のキャリアC2を連結する。尚、クラッチCL1とブレーキBK1の連結対象は、変形例4と同じである。

- 機関と、
回転機と、
前記機関の回転軸が連結された入力軸を備える変速装置と、
前記変速装置の出力軸が連結された差動回転要素と、前記回転機の回転軸が連結された差動回転要素と、を含む差動回転可能な複数の差動回転要素を有する差動装置と、
前記変速装置を変速させる油圧駆動の係合装置と、
前記回転機と前記変速装置と前記差動装置と前記係合装置とを収納し、前記機関と連結される筐体と、
前記筐体の前記機関側に設けられた開口を覆うカバー壁と、
を備え、
前記回転機を前記係合装置よりも前記機関側に配置し、
