Description
1. 基材上に少なくとも発泡剤含有樹脂層が形成されている積層シートであって、
(1) 前記発泡剤含有樹脂層は、エチレン共重合体、並びに、アクリル酸及びメタクリル酸からなる群から選ばれた少なくとも1種の不飽和カルボン酸をモノマー成分として含む不飽和カルボン酸重合体を含有し、
(2) 前記エチレン共重合体は、エチレン−α,β不飽和カルボン酸エステル共重合体及びエチレン−カルボン酸ビニルエステル共重合体からなる群から選ばれた少なくとも1種であり、
(3) 前記エチレン共重合体の含有量は、前記発泡剤含有樹脂層の樹脂成分の93〜97質量%であり、前記不飽和カルボン酸重合体の含有量は、前記発泡剤含有樹脂層の樹脂成分の3〜7質量%である、
ことを特徴とする積層シート。
2. 前記エチレン共重合体におけるエチレン以外のコモノマー成分が、酢酸ビニル、アクリル酸メチル及びメタクリル酸メチルからなる群から選ばれた少なくとも1種である、上記項1に記載の積層シート。
3. 前記不飽和カルボン酸重合体が、エチレン−アクリル酸共重合体及びエチレン−メタクリル酸共重合体からなる群から選ばれた少なくとも1種である、上記項1又は2に記載の積層シート。
4. 前記発泡剤含有樹脂層は、電子線照射により樹脂架橋されている、上記項1〜3のいずれかに記載の積層シート。
5. 前記基材上に非発泡樹脂層B、前記発泡剤含有樹脂層及び非発泡樹脂層Aが順に形成されている、上記項1〜4のいずれかに記載の積層シート。
6. 上記項1〜5のいずれかに記載の積層シートの前記発泡剤含有樹脂層を発泡させることにより得られる発泡積層シート。
7. 最表面層の上からエンボス加工が施されている、上記項6に記載の発泡積層シート。
≪積層シート≫
本発明の積層シートは、基材上に少なくとも発泡剤含有樹脂層が形成されている積層シートであって、
(1) 前記発泡剤含有樹脂層は、エチレン共重合体、並びに、アクリル酸及びメタクリル酸からなる群から選ばれた少なくとも1種の不飽和カルボン酸をモノマー成分として含む不飽和カルボン酸重合体を含有し、
(2) 前記エチレン共重合体は、エチレン−α,β不飽和カルボン酸エステル共重合体及びエチレン−カルボン酸ビニルエステル共重合体からなる群から選ばれた少なくとも1種であり、
(3) 前記エチレン共重合体の含有量は、前記発泡剤含有樹脂層の樹脂成分の85〜97質量%であり、前記不飽和カルボン酸重合体の含有量は、前記発泡剤含有樹脂層の樹脂成分の3〜15質量%である、ことを特徴とする
上記特徴を有する本発明の積層シートは、特に発泡剤含有樹脂層の樹脂成分として、特定の共重合体及び特定の不飽和カルボン酸重合体をそれぞれ特定量で含有することにより、発泡樹脂層の樹脂成分としてオレフィン系樹脂を使用した場合でも、実用的な表面強度を有し、且つ、下地追従性に優れた発泡積層シートが得られる。
基材としては限定されず、公知の繊維質基材(裏打紙)などが利用できる。
本発明で用いる発泡剤含有樹脂層は、エチレン共重合体及び不飽和カルボン酸重合体を含有する。
発泡剤含有樹脂層は、その片面又は両面に非発泡樹脂層を有していてもよい。
発泡剤含有樹脂層上(又は非発泡樹脂層A上)には、絵柄模様層を形成してもよい。
本発明では、発泡剤含有樹脂層又は絵柄模様層の表面に艶調整及び/又は絵柄模様層の保護を意図して表面保護層を有してもよい。
本発明の発泡積層シートは、上記積層シートの発泡剤含有樹脂層を発泡させることによ
り得られる。発泡時の加熱条件は、熱分解型発泡剤の分解により発泡樹脂層が形成される
条件ならば限定されない。加熱温度は210〜240℃程度が好ましく、加熱時間は20〜80秒程度が好ましい。
発泡積層シートの製造方法としては、例えば、基材及び発泡剤含有樹脂層上に絵柄模様層を形成後、絵柄模様層上に表面保護層を形成して積層シートとし、次いで熱処理することにより発泡剤含有樹脂層を発泡樹脂層にすることにより製造できる。
エチレン−酢酸ビニル共重合体(EVA)及びエチレン−メタクリル酸共重合体(EMAA)をとその他発泡剤含有樹脂層の材料を、下記の配合により溶融混練した後、厚みが100μmとなるように製膜し、裏打紙と貼り合わせた。
・EVA「エバフレックスEV450:三井・デュポンポリケミカル株式会社製」:93質量部
・EMAA「N1110H:三井・デュポンポリケミカル株式会社製」 :7質量部
・炭酸カルシウム「ホワイトンH:白石工業株式会社製」 :10質量部
・二酸化チタン「タイピュアR-108:デュポン株式会社製」 :30質量部
・発泡剤「ビニホールAC#3:永和化成工業株式会社製」 :4.0質量部
・発泡助剤「ADHS:大塚化学株式会社製」 :4.0質量部
実施例2
EVAに代えて、EMA「レクスパールEMA EB440H:日本ポリエチレン株式会社製」を使用する以外は、実施例1と同様にして発泡壁紙を得た。
EVAに代えて、EMMA「アクリフトWH401:住友化学株式会社製」を使用する以外は、実施例1と同様にして発泡壁紙を得た。
EMAAに代えて、EAA「レクスパールEAA:日本ポリエチレン株式会社製」を使用する以外は、実施例1と同様にして発泡壁紙を得た。
EVAとEMAAの配合量比率をEVA:EMAA=93:7(質量比)に代えて、EVA:EMAA=97:3(質量比)とする以外は、実施例1と同様にして発泡壁紙を作製した。
EVAとEMAAの配合量比率をEVA:EMAA=93:7(質量比)に代えて、EVA:EMAA=85:15(質量比)とする以外は、実施例1と同様にして発泡壁紙を作製した。
EVAとEMAAの配合量比率をEVA:EMAA=93:7(質量比)に代えて、EVA:EMAA=0:100(質量比)とする(即ち、樹脂成分としてEMAAのみ使用する)以外は、実施例1と同様にして発泡壁紙を作製した。
EVAとEMAAの配合量比率をEVA:EMAA=93:7(質量比)に代えて、EVA:EMAA=100:0(質量比)とする(即ち、樹脂成分としてEVAのみ使用する)以外は、実施例1と同様にして発泡壁紙を作製した。
EVAとEMAAの配合量比率をEVA:EMAA=93:7(質量比)に代えて、EVA:EMAA=80:20(質量比)とする以外は、実施例1と同様にして発泡壁紙を作製した。
EVAとEMAAの配合量比率をEVA:EMAA=93:7(質量比)に代えて、EVA:EMAA=99:1(質量比)とする以外は、実施例1と同様にして発泡壁紙を作製した。
各実施例及び比較例で作製した発泡壁紙の耐傷性、下地追従性及び発泡性を調べた。各試験方法の評価基準は次の通りである。
発泡壁紙を、表面強化性能試験(日本ビニル工業会)に従って、荷重200gで5往復の引掻き試験を行った。引掻き跡の樹脂の毛羽立ちがない又は僅かであるものを5、引掻き跡が毛羽立つが発泡樹脂層の凹みは認められないものを4、引掻き跡が毛羽立ち発泡樹脂層に凹みが認められるものを3、評価3よりは引掻き跡の毛羽立ち及び発泡樹脂層の凹みが見られるが裏打紙の露出がないものを2、引掻き跡が大きく毛羽立ち裏打紙が露出するものを1と評価した。なお、評価2〜5を合格とした(5が最も高い評価である)。
発泡壁紙の裏打紙側に2枚のボード紙を貼り付け、引張り試験機を用いて壁紙巾方向に3mm/min の速度で2.0mm変位させたときの発泡壁紙の外観を観察した。外観変化が全く見られないものを5、クラック(穴開き)は無いが、僅かに艶変化及び/又は白化が見られるものを4、クラック(穴開き)が部分的に見られるものを3、評価3よりはクラック(穴開き)が見られるが破断に至らないものを2、完全に破断に至ったものを1と評価した。なお、評価2〜5を合格とした(5が最も高い評価である)。
発泡壁紙の発泡倍率を算出し、発泡倍率が10倍以上のものを5、7倍以上10倍未満のものを4、5倍以上7倍未満のものを3、3倍以上5倍未満のものを2、3倍未満のものを1と評価した。発泡倍率は、
発泡倍率=(発泡後厚み−裏打紙厚み)/(発泡前厚み−裏打紙厚み)により算出した。なお、評価2〜5を合格とした(5が最も高い評価である)。
Claims (7)
- 基材上に少なくとも発泡剤含有樹脂層が形成されている積層シートであって、
(1) 前記発泡剤含有樹脂層は、エチレン共重合体、並びに、アクリル酸及びメタクリル酸からなる群から選ばれた少なくとも1種の不飽和カルボン酸をモノマー成分として含む不飽和カルボン酸重合体を含有し、
(2) 前記エチレン共重合体は、エチレン−α,β不飽和カルボン酸エステル共重合体及びエチレン−カルボン酸ビニルエステル共重合体からなる群から選ばれた少なくとも1種であり、
(3) 前記エチレン共重合体の含有量は、前記発泡剤含有樹脂層の樹脂成分の93〜97質量%であり、前記不飽和カルボン酸重合体の含有量は、前記発泡剤含有樹脂層の樹脂成分の3〜7質量%である、
ことを特徴とする積層シート。 - 前記エチレン共重合体におけるエチレン以外のコモノマー成分が、酢酸ビニル、アクリル酸メチル及びメタクリル酸メチルからなる群から選ばれた少なくとも1種である、請求項1に記載の積層シート。
- 前記不飽和カルボン酸重合体が、エチレン−アクリル酸共重合体及びエチレン−メタクリル酸共重合体からなる群から選ばれた少なくとも1種である、請求項1又は2に記載の積層シート。
- 前記発泡剤含有樹脂層は、電子線照射により樹脂架橋されている、請求項1〜3のいずれかに記載の積層シート。
- 前記基材上に非発泡樹脂層B、前記発泡剤含有樹脂層及び非発泡樹脂層Aが順に形成されている、請求項1〜4のいずれかに記載の積層シート。
- 請求項1〜5のいずれかに記載の積層シートの前記発泡剤含有樹脂層を発泡させることにより得られる発泡積層シート。
- 最表面層の上からエンボス加工が施されている、請求項6に記載の発泡積層シート。
