Description
(a)押出成形が可能な架橋性ポリオレフィン組成物であって、(a.i)架橋性ポリオレフィン組成物の全重量に対して60〜75重量%の一以上のシラン架橋性ポリオレフィンポリマー、(a.ii)湿気硬化型縮合触媒、及び(a.iii)架橋性ポリオレフィン組成物の全重量に対して25〜40重量%の一以上のポリオレフィン系エラストマーであって、約0.89g/cm3以下の密度と、約50g/10分未満のメルトインデックス(I2)とを有し、少なくとも一つのメタロセン触媒を用いて製造された前記エラストマーを含む前記組成物を形成する工程;
(b)前記押出成形が可能な架橋性ポリオレフィン組成物を、第1の表面及び第2の表面を有するシートへと押出成形する工程;
(c)工程(d)の前又は工程(d)において、前記シートの第1の表面に型押しする工程;及び
(d)前記シートを、前記架橋性ポリオレフィン組成物を含み、内側面と、前記型押しされた表面が前記表皮材の外観面となるような外側面(又は外観面)とを有する型押し表皮材へと熱成形又は真空成形する工程
を含む方法である。
「DFDB 5451 NT」は、190℃、2.16kg荷重下におけるメルトインデックスが1.5g/10分であり、0.920g/cm3の密度を有する架橋性エチレン−ビニルトリメチルシラン共重合体であり、ダウ ケミカル社(The Dow Chemical Company)から入手でき;
「DFDA 5488 NT」は、架橋硬化性ポリマー用の周囲条件又は促進された硬化を行う低密度ポリエチレン(LDPE)の触媒マスターバッチであり、ダウ ケミカル社(The Dow Chemical Company)から入手でき;

「曲げ弾性率」は、1mm/分の試験速度で、ISO 178に従ってZwick社のZ010試験機により測定し;そして、
「収縮率」は、1mmプレートの元の長さと、冷却緩和後のプレートの長さとを測定し、収縮量を百分率で示したものである。収縮率(%)=(冷却緩和後のプレートの長さ − 元の長さ)/元の長さ ×100である。
Claims (7)
- 架橋性ポリオレフィン組成物を用いて、自動車部品の被覆材料として用いられる型押し表皮材を成形する方法であって、以下の各工程:
(a)押出成形が可能な架橋性ポリオレフィン組成物を形成する工程であって、前記架橋性ポリオレフィン組成物が、(i)架橋性ポリオレフィン組成物の全重量に対して60〜75重量%の一以上のシラン架橋性ポリオレフィンポリマーと、(ii)湿気硬化型縮合触媒と、(iii)架橋性ポリオレフィン組成物の全重量に対して25〜40重量%の一以上のポリオレフィン系エラストマーであって、0.89g/cm3以下の密度及び50g/10分未満のメルトインデックス(I2)を有し、少なくとも一つのメタロセン触媒を用いて製造された前記エラストマーと、からなる組成物である、前記工程;
(b)前記押出成形が可能な架橋性ポリオレフィン組成物を、第1の面及び第2の面を有するシートへと押出成形する工程;
(c)工程(d)の前又は工程(d)において、前記シートの第1の面に型押しを付与する工程;及び
(d)前記シートを、前記架橋性ポリオレフィン組成物を含み、内側面と、型押し面が前記表皮材の外観面となるような外側面(又は外観面)とを有する型押し表皮材へと熱成形又は真空成形する工程;
を含む方法。 - 前記シラン架橋性ポリオレフィンポリマーがエチレンとビニルシランコモノマーとの共重合体である、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記シラン架橋性ポリオレフィンポリマーがエチレン−ビニルトリメトキシシラン共重合体である、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記ポリオレフィン系エラストマーが0.885g/cm3以下の密度を有するものである、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記ポリオレフィン系エラストマーが、1〜40g/10分のメルトインデックス(I2)を有するものである、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 熱成形又は真空成形された、自動車部品の被覆材料として用いられる型押し表皮材であって、該表皮材は、(a)押出成形が可能な架橋性ポリオレフィン組成物であって、(i)架橋性ポリオレフィン組成物の全重量に対して60〜75重量%の一以上のシラン架橋性ポリオレフィンポリマーと、(ii)湿気硬化型縮合触媒と、(iii)架橋性ポリオレフィン組成物の全重量に対して25〜40重量%の一以上のポリオレフィン系エラストマーであって、0.89g/cm3以下の密度及び50g/10分未満のメルトインデックス(I2)を有し、少なくとも一つのメタロセン触媒を用いて製造された前記エラストマーとを含む前記組成物から製造されたものである、前記型押し表皮材。
- 前記型押し表皮材が、インストルメントパネル、コンソールボックス、アームレスト、ヘッドレスト、ドアトリム、リアパネル、ピラートリム、サンバイザー、トランクルームトリム、トランクリッドトリム、エアバッグカバー、シートバックル、ヘッドライナー、グローブボックス、ハンドル、キッキングプレート、チェンジレバーブーツ、スポイラー、サイドモール、ナンバープレートハウジング、ミラーハウジング、エアダムスカート、及び泥除け、から選択される自動車部品の被覆材料である、請求項6に記載の型押し表皮材。
