Description
[本実施形態の構成]
本発明が適用されたライト制御システム1は、乗用車等の車両に搭載されており、車両のヘッドライトによる照射範囲を変更する機能を有する。詳細には、ライト制御システム1は、図1に示すように、演算部10と、カメラ21と、レーダ装置22と、舵角センサ24と、車速センサ25と、ライト制御部30と、を備えている。
演算部10(CPU11)は、自車両の周囲の他車両を検出し、他車両を眩惑する虞がある場合にヘッドライトの照射範囲を狭くする(ロービームに切り替える)照射制御処理を実行する。照射制御処理では、図2に示すように、まず、カメラ21による撮像画像を取得する(S110)。
以上のように詳述したライト制御システム1において演算部10は自車両の側方または後方に他車両が存在するか否かの情報を表す存在情報を取得し(S120,S140,S170)、他車両が存在する旨の存在情報が取得された場合に、ヘッドライトの照射範囲をより狭く変更する(S160〜S210)。
また、上記ライト制御システム1において演算部10は、存在情報に加えて、他車両と自車両との相対移動方向も取得し、相対移動方向に基づいて他車両が照射範囲内に移動すると予測される場合(他車両の相対移動方向が照射範囲の方向である場合)に、ヘッドライトの照射範囲をより狭く変更する。
[その他の実施形態]
本発明の実施の形態は、上記の実施形態に何ら限定されることはなく、本発明の技術的範囲に属する限り種々の形態を採りうる。
本実施形態の照射制御処理のうち、S120,S140,S170の処理は本発明でいう他車両情報取得手段に相当し、S160〜S210の処理は本発明でいう照射範囲変更手段に相当する。
Claims (3)
- 車両に搭載され、自車両のヘッドライトの照射範囲を変更するライト制御装置(1)であって、
自車両の側方または後方に他車両が存在するか否かの情報を表す存在情報を取得する他車両情報取得手段(S120,S140,S170)と、
他車両が存在する旨の存在情報が取得された場合に、ヘッドライトの照射範囲をより狭く変更する照射範囲変更手段(S160〜S210)と、
を備え、
前記他車両情報取得手段は、前記存在情報に加えて、前記他車両と自車両との相対移動方向も取得し、
前記照射範囲変更手段は、前記相対移動方向に基づいて前記他車両が前記照射範囲内に移動すると予測される場合に、ヘッドライトの照射範囲をより狭く変更し、
前記他車両情報取得手段は、前記存在情報に加えて、前記他車両の横方向位置情報を少なくとも含む前記他車両の自車両に対する相対移動ベクトルも取得し、
前記照射範囲変更手段は、前記相対移動ベクトルに基づいて、前記他車両が前記照射範囲内に入るまでの時間を表す移動時間を推定し、該移動時間を上限として設定される待機時間が経過後にヘッドライトの照射範囲をより狭く変更すること
を特徴とするライト制御装置。 - 請求項1に記載のライト制御装置において、
前記他車両情報取得手段は、前記他車両の部位のうち、前記他車両が前記照射範囲内に入った場合に該他車両の運転者が眩しさを感じる可能性がある部位を示す眩惑対象物の位置も取得し、
前記照射範囲変更手段は、前記他車両のうちの前記眩惑対象物が前記照射範囲内に入るまでの時間を表す移動時間を推定すること
を特徴とするライト制御装置。 - コンピュータを、請求項1〜請求項2の何れか1項に記載のライト制御装置を構成する各手段として機能させるためのライト制御プログラム。
