Description
Claims (3)
- 集電体の両面に活物質層が形成されると共に当該活物質層が形成されず当該集電体が露出された第1の露出部に第1のリード線が接続された帯状の第1の電極と、集電体の両面に活物質層が形成されると共に当該活物質層が形成されず当該集電体が露出された第2の露出部に第2のリード線が接続された帯状の第2の電極と、が帯状のセパレータを挟むようにして巻回されて積層された巻回型電気化学デバイスであって、
前記第1の露出部は、前記第1のリード線が接続される第1の接続領域と、これに隣接して前記第2のリード線の幅より広い第1の開放領域とを有し、
前記第2の露出部は、前記第2のリード線が接続される第2の接続領域と、これに隣接して前記第1のリード線の幅より広い第2の開放領域とを有し、
前記第1の露出部と前記第2の露出部とは前記セパレータを介して対向しており、
前記第1のリード線は、前記セパレータを介して前記第2の露出部の前記第2の開放領域と対向し、
前記第2のリード線は、前記セパレータを介して前記第1の露出部の前記第1の開放領域と対向していて、
前記第1の電極の集電体と前記第2の電極の集電体との間に、前記第1のリード線及び前記第1の開放領域、前記セパレータ、並びに、前記第2のリード線及び前記第2の開放領域がこの順となるように配置され、
前記第1のリード線及び前記第2のリード線は、巻回して積層された前記第1の電極及び前記第2の電極に対して同一の方向へ突出していて、且つ、巻回軸に対して垂直な断面において、前記第1のリード線及び前記第2のリード線が並んで配置される
ことを特徴とする巻回型電気化学デバイス。 - 前記第1の電極において、前記第1の露出部の両側には前記活物質層が形成され、
前記第2の電極において、前記第2の露出部の両側には前記活物質層が形成されていることを特徴とする請求項1記載の巻回型電気化学デバイス。 - 前記第1の電極、前記第2の電極、及び前記セパレータの巻回軸に対して垂直な断面が扁平形状であり、前記断面における長手方向に延在する前記セパレータを介して、前記第1の露出部と前記第2の露出部とが対向して設けられていることを特徴とする請求項1又は2記載の巻回型電気化学デバイス。
