Description
Claims (5)
- (a)基質として使用されるフレーク表面にMgO・SiO2を含む酸化物層が被覆された顔料粉末を形成すること;
(b)前記顔料粉末を脱イオン水(DIwater)に混合した後、撹拌および分散させて固体の含有量が5重量%ないし20重量%の懸濁液を形成すること;
(c)前記(b)の懸濁液にCeCl3を滴下した後、5分ないし30分間撹拌すること;
(d)前記(c)の懸濁液を60℃ないし90℃に加熱した後、10分ないし60分間撹拌すること;
(e)前記(d)の懸濁液pHを1ないし5に調節した後、5分ないし30分間還流させ、前記顔料粉末の表面にセリウム層が被覆されるようにすること;
(f)前記(e)の懸濁液にAl(NO3)3溶液を混合してpHを一定に維持し、溶液注入が完了した前記懸濁液を10分ないし60分間還流させ、前記顔料粉末の表面にアルミニウム酸化物層が被覆されるようにすること;
(g)前記(f)の懸濁液を撹拌しながらpHを3ないし9になるようにすること;および
(h)前記(g)でpHが増加した前記懸濁液にシランカップリング溶液を注入してpHを維持させ、溶液注入が完了した前記懸濁液を10分ないし30分間還流させること;を含むことを特徴とする外装材顔料の製造方法。 - 前記(a)は、
(a1)前記フレークを脱イオン水(DIwater)に混合した後、撹拌および分散させて懸濁液を形成すること;
(a2)前記(a1)の懸濁液に第1可溶性無機金属塩溶液を滴下した後、前記第1可溶性無機金属塩溶液を加水分解させて前記フレークの表面に第1金属酸化物層が被覆されるようにすること;
(a3)前記(a2)の懸濁液に5重量%ないし35重量%のMgO・SiO2を含む可溶性無機塩溶液を滴下した後、前記可溶性無機塩溶液を加水分解させて前記第1金属酸化物層の表面に酸化物層が被覆されるようにすること;
(a4)前記(a3)の懸濁液に第2可溶性無機金属塩溶液を滴下した後、前記第2可溶性無機金属塩溶液を加水分解させて前記酸化物層の表面に第2金属酸化物層が被覆されるようにすること;および
(a5)前記(a4)の懸濁液から顔料粉末を分離すること;を含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の外装材顔料の製造方法。 - 前記(a2)ないし(a4)の懸濁液は、60℃ないし90℃を維持するようにするが、
前記(a2)または前記(a4)の懸濁液は、pH値を1ないし9に調整し、溶液の滴下完了後、10分ないし30分間還流させ、
前記(a3)段階の懸濁液は、pH値を4ないし14に調整し、溶液の滴下完了後、30分ないし60分間還流させることを特徴とする請求項2に記載の外装材顔料の製造方法。 - 前記第1可溶性無機金属塩溶液および前記第2可溶性無機金属塩溶液は、
SnCl4、TiCl4、TiOCl2、TiOSO4、FeCl3、FeSO4、SiCl4、ZrOCl2、Na2O・SiO2・5H2O、MnCl2、MgCl2、AlCl3およびCoCl2から選択される一つまたは二つ以上の混合物を含み、
前記可溶性無機塩溶液は、
水ガラス、MgCl2、ケイ酸塩、AlCl3、KCl3およびホウ酸から選択される一つまたは二つ以上の混合物を含むことを特徴とする請求項2に記載の外装材顔料の製造方法。 - 前記酸化物層は、
前記第2金属酸化物層まで含む顔料重量の5重量%ないし35重量%になるようにし、SiO2、MgO・Al2O3、K2O・SiO2およびMg2SiO4から選択された一つまたは二つ以上の混合物をさらに含むことを特徴とする請求項2に記載の外装材顔料の製造方法。
