前記環状の間仕切壁は、前記キャリヤ・リング内に延びかつ該封止材組立体の高圧側からの高圧プロセスガスを前記キャリヤ・リングに隣接して注入するように配置された1または2以上の分流孔を形成する封止材組立体。 - 前記環状の間仕切壁の前記内面と前記キャリヤ・リングとの間に形成されたギャップをさらに有し、前記キャリヤ・リングは、前記封止材組立体の前記高圧側で強められた圧力に応答して軸方向に移動することができる請求項1に記載の封止材組立体。

- 外面及び内面を有する環状の間仕切壁と、
前記環状の間仕切壁の前記内面に隣接して配置されたキャリヤ・リングと、
前記キャリヤ・リングと金属結合した磨耗性封止基体と、
前記磨耗性封止基体に形成された封止面とを有し、
前記外面は、ターボ機械のケーシングと結合し、前記封止面は、ロータに隣接して配置されかつ前記ターボ機関の運転の間には、そこに実質的に平行に維持されるとともに、
前記環状の間仕切壁は、前記キャリヤ・リング内に延びかつ該封止材組立体の高圧側からの高圧プロセスガスを前記キャリヤ・リングに隣接して注入するように配置された1または2以上の分流孔を形成するターボ機関のケーシング内で用いる封止材組立体。 - 前記間仕切壁の前記内面と前記キャリヤ・リングとの間に形成されたギャップをさらに有し、前記キャリヤ・リングは、前記封止材組立体の高圧側で強められた前記圧力に応答して、前記ロータに関する軸方向に移動するように配置された請求項8に記載の封止材組立体。
- 前記封止面は、ラビリンス・シール用の歯または孔パターン・シール用の打ち抜きを有する請求項8に記載の封止材組立体。
- 前記環状の間仕切壁および前記キャリヤ・リングは、鉄合金、ニッケル合金またはチタン合金から形成された請求項8に記載の封止材組立体。
- 前記磨耗性封止基体は、アルミニウム合金、銅合金、粉末金属合金、炭素含有鉄合金またはポリマーから形成された請求項8に記載の封止材組立体。
- 磨耗性物質を高弾性率をもつキャリヤ・リングに対して、金属結合し、
前記磨耗性物質を機械加工して封止面を形成し、
前記キャリヤ・リングを、高弾性率をもつ環状の間仕切壁に連結させるとともに、
前記環状の間仕切壁は、前記キャリヤ・リング内に延びかつ該封止材組立体の高圧側からの高圧プロセスガスを前記キャリヤ・リングに隣接して注入するように配置された1または2以上の分流孔を形成する封止材組立体製造方法。 - 前記磨耗性物質は、熱間静水圧加圧成形技術を介して前記キャリヤ・リングと金属結合される請求項13に記載の方法。
- 前記封止面は、一連の歯または打ち抜きを形成する請求項13に記載の方法。
