Claims (3)
- 現在のエンジンの運転状態において算出される実EGR率と、現在のエンジンの運転状態に基づいて決定された目標EGR率との偏差の絶対値を求め、EGRバルブ開度のフィードバック補正量を該フィードバック補正量の上限値で除算して得た商をゲインとして前記偏差の絶対値に乗算し、これにより得られた積が「0」に近い場合を正常とし且つ前記積が「0」から遠ざかるほど異常の程度が高いものと判定することを特徴とする排気ガス再循環量の異常検出方法。
- 吸気マニホールド内の温度と圧力とエンジンの回転数とに基づいて単位時間当たりに各気筒が吸い込み得る作動ガス量を算出すると共に、同じ単位時間当たりに吸気管を流れる新気量を実測し、該新気量を前記作動ガス量から減算して排気ガスの再循環量を求め、該再循環量を前記作動ガス量で除算して実EGR率を求めることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の排気ガス再循環量の異常検出方法。
- 吸気マニホールド内の温度を検出する温度センサと、吸気マニホールド内の圧力を検出する圧力センサと、吸気管を流れる新気量を検出する吸気センサと、エンジンの回転数を検出する回転センサと、エンジンの負荷を検出する負荷センサと、これら各種センサから検出信号を入力して排気ガスの再循環量の異常を判定する制御装置とを備え、
該制御装置が、吸気マニホールド内の吸気の温度と圧力とエンジンの回転数とに基づいて単位時間当たりに各気筒が吸い込み得る作動ガス量を算出すると共に、同じ単位時間当たりに吸気管を流れる新気量を前記作動ガス量から減算して排気ガスの再循環量を求め、該再循環量を前記作動ガス量で除算して得た実EGR率と、現在のエンジンの回転数及び負荷に基づいて決定された目標EGR率との偏差の絶対値を求め、EGRバルブ開度のフィードバック補正量を該フィードバック補正量の上限値で除算して得た商をゲインとして前記偏差の絶対値に乗算し、これにより得られた積が「0」に近い場合を正常とし且つ前記積が「0」から遠ざかるほど異常の程度が高いものと判定するように構成されていることを特徴とする排気ガス再循環量の異常検出装置。
