第1図は本考案の基本概念図、第2,3図は本
考案の一実施例を示す図であり、第2図はその全
体構成図、第3図はそのEGR故障判定のプログ
ラムを示すフローチヤート、第4,5図は従来の
内燃機関のEGR故障判定装置を示す図であり、
第4図はその問題点を説明するための診断領域を
示す図、第5図はその診断待ち時間を説明するた
めの特性図である。 1……エンジン、7……EGR通路(排気還流
通路)、12……温度センサ(温度検出手段)、
13……運転状態検出手段、14……コントロー
ルユニツト(運転領域判別手段、判定手段)。

Claims (1)
- 【実用新案登録請求の範囲】 (a) エンジンの運転状態を検出する運転状態検
出手段と、 (b) 排気還流通路のEGRガス温度を検出する
温度検出手段と、 (c) エンジンの運転状態に基づいてエンジンが
所定の運転領域にあることを判別する運転領域判
別手段と、 (d) 前記運転領域中に前記EGRガス温度が所
定値以下でかつ前記EGRガス温度の上昇率が所
定値以下のときEGR装置が故障と判定する判定
手段と、 を備えたことを特徴とする内燃機関のEGR故
障判定装置。
