Claims (5)
- エンジンの冷却水を流入させる入口側通路と、前記エンジンの冷却水を流出させる出口側通路とを少なくとも1つずつ有して構成される複数の通路が設けられたハウジング部と、
前記ハウジング部のうち、前記複数の通路それぞれが開口する中間部に設けられるとともに、回転動作で前記複数の通路を介した前記エンジンの冷却水の流通を制御するロータと、
前記ハウジング部と前記ロータとの間に前記ロータとともに回転可能に設けられたシール機能部と、
前記ロータと前記シール機能部との間に設けられ、前記ロータの位相制御に応じて前記複数の通路のうち少なくとも前記入口側通路の開口部に対し、前記シール機能部を当接可能に付勢する弾性部材と、を備え、
前記ロータが回転中心の軸線に沿って見た場合に前記中間部に開口する前記複数の通路の開口部それぞれまでの距離が少なくとも一部の間で互いに異なる位置に回転中心が設けられている構成となっており、
前記ロータの回転中心から前記入口側通路の開口部までの距離が当該入口側通路以外の他の前記複数の通路の開口部に比べて最も短く設定されており、
前記弾性部材が複数の通路の開口部それぞれに対し、前記ロータの異なる位相毎に個別に前記シール機能部を付勢するエンジンの冷却制御装置。 - エンジンの冷却水を流入させる入口側通路と、前記エンジンの冷却水を流出させる出口側通路とを少なくとも1つずつ有して構成される複数の通路が設けられたハウジング部と、
前記ハウジング部のうち、前記複数の通路それぞれが開口する中間部に設けられるとともに、回転動作で前記複数の通路を介した前記エンジンの冷却水の流通を制御するロータと、
前記ハウジング部と前記ロータとの間に前記ロータとともに回転可能に設けられたシール機能部と、
前記ロータと前記シール機能部との間に設けられ、前記ロータの位相制御に応じて前記複数の通路のうち少なくとも前記入口側通路の開口部に対し、前記シール機能部を当接可能に付勢する弾性部材と、
前記エンジンの冷却水を圧送するポンプと、を備え、
前記複数の通路が前記ポンプから前記エンジンに向かう冷却水を流通させることが可能な通路を有して構成される第1の通路群と、前記エンジンから前記ポンプに向かう冷却水を流通させることが可能な通路を有して構成される第2の通路群とを有して構成されるとともに、前記第1および第2の通路群が前記ロータの回転中心の軸線に沿った方向において互いに異なる位置に設けられており、
前記シール機能部が前記ロータの回転中心の軸線に沿った方向における前記第1および第2の通路群間で、前記ロータに押し当てられる押し当て部をさらに備え、
前記ロータが回転中心の軸線に沿って見た場合に前記中間部に開口する前記複数の通路の開口部それぞれまでの距離が少なくとも一部の間で互いに異なる位置に回転中心が設けられている構成となっており、
前記ロータの回転中心から前記入口側通路の開口部までの距離が当該入口側通路以外の他の前記複数の通路の開口部に比べて最も短く設定されており、
前記弾性部材が複数の通路の開口部それぞれに対し、前記ロータの異なる位相毎に個別に前記シール機能部を付勢するエンジンの冷却制御装置。 - 請求項1または2記載のエンジンの冷却制御装置であって、
前記弾性部材が前記複数の通路のうち、所定の通路の開口部に対し前記シール機能部を付勢した状態で、前記シール機能部と前記所定の通路の開口部との間に隙間が設けられるエンジンの冷却制御装置。 - 請求項1から3のいずれか一項に記載のエンジンの冷却制御装置であって、
前記ロータと前記シール機能部との間に前記ロータの回転中心の軸線に沿って見た場合に前記ロータの回転中心の四方に配置された複数の転動体をさらに備えるエンジンの冷却制御装置。 - 請求項1から4のいずれか一項に記載のエンジンの冷却制御装置であって、
前記複数の通路のうち、少なくともいずれかの通路の開口部が、前記ロータが対応する位相に制御された状態で対向することになる前記シール機能部の外面形状に合わせて形成されたシール面を有するエンジンの冷却制御装置。
