Claims (5)
- LCプラグを装脱自在に取付け可能の光ファイバ送受信機モジュール(105)をケージ(110)内に解放可能に収納した光ファイバ送受信機モジュール装置において、
両側に開口部(205)を有する前記光ファイバ送受信機モジュール(105)と、
前記送受信機モジュール(105)上に回転可能に取り付けられるベール(115)であって、U字形フランジ(530)を一体的に形成された前記ベール(115)と、
後方に延在する一対のアーム(510)と前記各アームの後方に設けられたくさび状要素(520)と一対のカムスロット(540)と一対の水平スロット(515)とを含むアーム組立体(505)であって、前記送受信機モジュール(105)に対して前後方向へ所定距離だけ摺動自在に取付けられた前記アーム組立体(505)と、
前記送受信機モジュール(105)を前後方向移動自在に受容する前記ケージ(110)であって、当該ケージ(110)は、その両側部に前記開口部(205)に係合可能の一対の係止タブ(130)を含み、前記ケージ(110)はプリント回路基板上に取り付けられる、前記ケージ(110)とを備えており、
前記ベール(115)は、軸(135)によって前記送受信機モジュール(105)上に回転可能に取り付けられ、前記軸(135)は、前記アーム組立体(505)の水平スロット(515)を貫通しており、前記U字形フランジ(530)は、前記アーム組立体(505)の前記カムスロット(540)の縁部の内側表面および外側表面の両方を取り囲み、
前記ベール(115)が上方へ回転された固定位置にあるときは、前記U字形フランジ(530)及び前記アーム組立体(505)のカムスロット(540)の係合に起因して係止タブ(130)が前記開口部(205)に係合することにより、前記アーム組立体(505)は前記送受信機モジュール(105)に対する摺動経路内で最後部位置にあり、しかも前記ケージ(110)の前記係止タブ(130)は、前記送受信機モジュール(105)の前記開口部(205)を介して前記アーム(510)のくさび状要素(520)に係合して、前記送受信機モジュール(105)を前記ケージ(110)内の後方移動位置に固定しており、このとき前記LCプラグは送受信機モジュール(105)に取り外し可能に係合固定されており、
また前記LCプラグが前記送受信機モジュール(105)から取り外された後に、前記ベール(115)が前記固定位置から下方向且つ前方の解放位置まで回転されるときは、前記U字形フランジ(530)が、前記カムスロット(540)内を移動して該カムスロット(540)の端部に当接して、それ以後前記ベール(115)が前方の解放位置まで回転するに連動して前記アーム組立体(505)が前方位置まで所定距離だけ摺動され、しかも前記ベール(115)が前記解放位置まで回転する間に、前記アームの前記くさび状要素(520)が前記ケージ(110)の前記係止タブ(130)に接触してこれを前記送受信機モジュール(105)の摺動経路の外側まで押圧することにより、前記送受信機モジュール(105)を前記ケージ(110)内の前記後方移動位置から前方へ引き出して取り外すことを可能にする、前記装置。 - 請求項1に記載の装置において、前記くさび状要素(520)は、それぞれが角度付きまたは弧状の表面(525)を備える、前記装置。
- 請求項1に記載の装置において、前記ベール(115)は、前記ベール(115)の主要部分から突出するタブ(535)を含み、当該タブ(535)は、係合スロット(545)を有し、当該係合スロット(545)は、前記アーム組立体(505)から突出するボス(550)に係合して、前記ベール(115)を前記固定位置に固定する、前記装置。
- 請求項1に記載の装置において、前記カムスロット(540)は第1及び第2段のカム経路(555、560)を有する偏心カムスロットであり、前記ベール(115)は、前記軸(135)が前記スロット(515)内を動き、前記U字形フランジ(530)が前記偏心カムスロット(540)の前記第1の段のカム経路(555)を通って動くとき、前記ベール(115)は、前記送受信機モジュール(105)を前記後方移動位置から動かすことなく、前記固定位置から約45度の弧にわたって回転し、前記ベール(115)は、さらに回転して、前記U字形フランジ(530)を前記偏心カムスロット(540)の前記第2の段のカム経路(560)を通して動かす、前記装置。
- 請求項1に記載の装置において、前記ベール(115)が前記固定位置から約45度の弧にわたって動くとき、前記送受信機モジュール(105)は前記後方移動位置から動かすことなく、前記送受信機モジュール(105)のプラグベイ(140)が前記LCプラグに取付けられている限り、前記ベール(115)は、前記45度の弧を完成することができない、前記装置。
