Description
SUS430材料は、円筒形二次電池のための上部キャップを製造するために、リバース圧延機で圧延され、表面粗さ(Ra)が0.8に達するように表面凹凸処理を受け、モールドされた。
SPCC材料は、円筒形二次電池のための上部キャップを製造するために、Niでめっきされ、防食後処理を受け、モールドされた。
例1および比較例1で製造された上部キャップの単位抵抗ならびに例1および比較例1の上部キャップを使用して製造された二次電池のセル抵抗が、測定され、Table 1(表1)で示された。
例1および比較例1でそれぞれ製造された5個の上部キャップが、3%食塩水に浸され、腐食の発生が、1時間にわたって20分ごとに監視された。結果は、次のTable 2(表2)で示される。
例1および比較例1でそれぞれ製造された60個の上部キャップが、電解溶液に浸され、上部キャップのうちの20個が、室温、40℃および80%RH、ならびに65℃および90%RHで貯蔵され、上部キャップの腐食が、1時間、6時間、1日および12日の後に測定された。結果は、以下のTable 3(表3)で示される。

Claims (7)
- ステンレス鋼から成り、表面スクラッチの形成を防止する能力のある表面粗さを与えるために凹凸を備えた表面を有する上部キャップを有する円筒形二次電池であって、
前記表面粗さ(Ra)は、0.7から1.0であり、前記凹凸が前記上部キャップの外側表面全体に形成される、円筒形二次電池。 - 前記ステンレス鋼は、SUS430である、請求項1に記載の円筒形二次電池。
- 前記表面粗さ(Ra)は、0.8から0.9である、請求項1に記載の円筒形二次電池。
- 前記表面粗さは、粗く加工された表面を有するロールを使って前記上部キャップの前記表面を圧延することによって形成される、請求項1に記載の円筒形二次電池を製造する方法。
- 請求項1に記載の円筒形二次電池を単位電池として含む電池モジュール。
- 請求項5に記載の電池モジュールを含む電池パック。
- 前記電池パックは、機器の電力源として使用され、前記機器は、電気自動車(EV)、ハイブリッド電気自動車(HEV)、プラグインハイブリッド電気自動車(PHEV)、または電力貯蔵のためのシステムとされる、請求項6に記載の電池パック。
