Claims (2)
- 燃焼室に連通する吸気通路に燃料を噴射する第1の噴射部と、
前記燃焼室に燃料を噴射する第2の噴射部と、
前記燃焼室に対して配置された吸気弁および排気弁とを備え、
前記燃焼室から排出される排気を浄化する触媒の床温が所定の温度よりも低い場合に所定の噴射を行い、
前記所定の噴射が、前記吸気弁の開弁期間中に前記第1および第2の噴射部のうち前記第1の噴射部から燃料を噴射し、且つ前記排気弁の開弁期間中に前記第1および第2の噴射部のうち前記第2の噴射部から燃料を噴射することである内燃機関。 - 請求項1記載の内燃機関であって、
前記燃焼室に隣接するピストンと、
前記吸気弁および前記排気弁のバルブ特性のうち少なくとも前記排気弁の閉弁時期を変更する動弁装置をさらに備え、
前記触媒の床温が所定の温度よりも低い場合であって、且つ所定の場合に前記所定の噴射を行い、
前記所定の場合が、前記動弁装置が前記排気弁を前記ピストンの排気上死点よりも進角側で閉弁するとともに、前記吸気弁および前記排気弁間でマイナスオーバラップを形成する状態にある場合である内燃機関。
