Description
本出願は、2010年12月17日に出願された米国特許仮出願第61/424,354号、及び2011年3月23日に出願された米国特許出願第13/069,679号の利益を主張する。
本発明は、電気絶縁の用途のために好適な材料に関する。
電気モータ、発電機、及び変圧器のような電装品は、ある電圧での導体を異なる電圧での導体から分離し、及び/又は電気コンポーネンツに機械的な保護を提供するために、しばしば、いくつかの形態の誘電体絶縁を必要とする。電気的絶縁性の材料の積層は、工業では、この目的において、しばしば使用される。
本発明の材料は、電気コンポーネンツの絶縁を必要とする、変圧器、モータ、発電機、及びその他の装置内で、電気コンポーネンツを絶縁するために好適である。
「直接溶着された」は、接着層のような介在層を有しないことを意味し、
「不織紙」は、主として、短繊維から構成されるシート材料を意味し、
「不織布」は、主として、長繊維から構成されるシート材料を意味し、
「短繊維」は、1インチ(2.54cm)未満の長さの繊維を意味し、
「長繊維」は、1インチ(2.54cm)以上の長さの繊維を意味し、
「縦方向」、つまり「機械方向」は、連続するシート材料のワインドアップ方向と平行な方向を指し、
「横方向」、つまり「横断方向」は、連続するシート材料のワインドアップ方向と垂直の方向を指す。
以下の説明において、本発明の範囲又は趣旨から逸脱することなく、その他の実施形態を想到し実施し得ることが、理解されるべきである。したがって、以下の詳細な説明は、限定的な意味で解釈されるべきではない。
XP−1は、後述のように、当該技術分野において既知の方法を使用して作製された実験用電気絶縁不織紙である。
実施例1〜18及び比較例CE11で使用された不織布は、40重量%のpアラミド繊維(1.7デニール×1.5インチ(1.7デニール×3.81cm))(TWARON,Teijin Aramid,The Netherlands)、10重量%のポリエステルステープル繊維(1.5デニール×1.5インチ(1.5デニール×3.81cm))(Invista,USAの221型)、25重量%の未延伸ポリエステルバインダー繊維(3デニール×1インチ(3デニール×2.54cm))(Fiber Innovation Technology,USAの109型)、及び110℃で結合するアモルファス外部シース(Fiber Innovation Technology,USAのT−201型)を有する、25重量%の2成分ポリエステルバインダー繊維(2デニール×1.5インチ(2デニール×3.81cm))の混合物からなっていた。繊維の混合物は、0.033〜0.066lb/sq yd(18〜36g/sq m)の間で坪量を有する不織布の詰綿をもたらすように、梳綿機を通過する。
比較例CE1〜CE9は、不織布層なしで、即ち、不織紙層のみで作製されていた。比較例CE1〜CE7では、材料リストに注記の出所の商業用上入手可能な不織紙が使用された。CE8のサンプルは、商業上入手可能な未カレンダ不織紙である、NOMEX 411を380°F(193℃)の温度、1000pli(179kg/cm)(1751.3N/cm)の圧力、及び15ft/分(4.6m/分)の速度で、鋼ロール間でカレンダすることによって作製された。CE9のサンプルは、上記のように検査室で製造されたXP−1不織紙を300°F(149℃)の温度、1000pli(179kg/cm)(1751.3N/cm)の圧力、及び15ft/分(4.6m/分)の速度で、鋼ロールの間でカレンダすることによって作製された。CE1〜CE9についての測定及び試験の結果を表1に示す。
実施例1〜7は、2つの不織布層の間に1つの不織紙層を含有する。
実施例8〜18は、1つの不織紙層と1つ又は2つの不織布層を含有する。
比較例CE10は、熱可塑性樹脂層を含有するが、不織布層は含有しない。比較例CE11は、内部の紙の層の各面に接着剤層を含有する。
実施例19〜22は、2つの不織布層の間に1つの不織紙層を含有する。布地層は、異なる組成物を有する。
Claims (3)
- 片側又は両側で不織布層と直接溶着された不織紙層を備え、前記不織紙及び不織布のうちの一方又は両方が電気絶縁性であり、
前記不織紙層が、10〜30重量%のアラミド繊維及び3重量%〜10重量%のポリマーバインダーを含む、物品。 - 前記不織紙が、50〜80重量%の無機充填剤を含む、請求項1に記載の物品。
- 前記不織布が、20〜70重量%のバインダー繊維と、30〜80重量%のステープル繊維とを含み、前記ステープル繊維が、パラアラミドステープル繊維を含む、請求項1に記載の物品。
